For Asian groceries, I usually shop at HMart on Gessner (or the Katy location if I’m already out that way). I was visiting my son in Sugar Land, and he suggested we try the Chinese handmade noodle restaurant in the same plaza as Jusgo Supermarket. Since I’d never walked through Jusgo before, I wanted to see how it compared to HMart. I was thrilled to discover that Jusgo actually carries my favorite soup base — Quoc Viet Foods Pork Flavored Soup Base, 10 oz (Cốt Súp Heo) — for only $7.99. I normally have to buy it on Amazon for around $9.79 because I’ve never been able to find it at HMart. Total win! 🫶 I also grabbed two items I’ve been meaning to try from HMart: Ssamjang seasoned soybean paste (1.10 lbs / 17.63 oz) for $4.59, and Wang black bean paste (15.8 oz), which was the only black bean paste I could find there, for $3.19.

Jusgo is a convenient stop if you’re looking for Asian groceries, especially frozen and pantry items. The store has a big selection and it’s the kind of place where you’ll probably walk out with more than you planned. I noticed they carry some familiar brands I like — including Chuon Chuon (Dragon Fly) in the frozen section, which is always a nice bonus. Good mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, and other Asian products. Worth a visit if you’re nearby and want to stock up on comfort food essentials.

Jusgo, a fantastic local Asian supermarket nestled in the Sugar Land area, is a true gem. This supermarket is exceptionally clean and meticulously organized, boasting an impressive array of foods, snacks, and ingredients that are often hard to find elsewhere. It truly feels like a hidden treasure, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such a market conveniently located nearby. Jusgo is a must-visit destination for anyone who has a passion for Asian cuisine!

Absolutely love going here and getting all my items that cant be found in regular supermarkets. This place has it all! Japanese, indian, Thai. I believe there are 3 or 4 different restaurants inside the store and they always smell so inviting.

Justgo is an Asian grocery store that offers a wide variety of products, especially Vietnamese items. They have fresh produce, dried goods, and various seasonings. One of my favorite things to buy here is Japanese shower cream — it's so much cheaper compared to other places. The fresh vegetables are plentiful, though their frozen selection isn't as extensive as Welfresh. They also have a lot of snacks, especially fruit-based ones, which help ease my homesickness. I love everything about this place except for the smell. I can't quite describe it, but once you step in, you'll know it's the distinct scent of this store.

I normally don’t review grocery stores, but this place has an in-store restaurant that sells a beef noodle soup that is amazing. Am I saying everything is great? No. But the Beef noodle soup is great.

Money-wise, it was a tiny amount. This was really about fairness. Think of it as a simple IQ question: if something costs 21 cents and you pay with a dollar, how much change should you get when pennies aren’t used anymore—75 cents or 80 cents? I was surprised the store went with 75 cents. Their reasoning was that they would never allow the store to lose money to customers.
