Remodeled and full of new energy — Grade A is bright, well stocked, and has higher ceilings, new flooring, and beautiful signage like that I’d come to love at Trader Joe’s. I’ve been in this area for 25 years — and this is only the 2nd major remodel I can recall. Locals love the ease of its location — but few used to say it was for the great produce or the energy. However, this is really special — and I think you should give them a fresh look. We love the mix of local history (since 1929!) and clearly a fresh infusion of capital to compete with Trader Joe’s and the (potentially) forthcoming Whole Foods — both nearby on High Ridge Road. Well. I’d say they’ve done their job. This is a competitive store — beautiful and bright, full of helpful people and fresh everything.

They play games with their sale price display, it says coffee's on sale, you check your receipt, and they charged full price, you try to get someone to explain it to you and they make something up, either you had to buy it on the app and show it to them or its only for regular coffee and not decaf. Happened to me with coffee beans a few times now. Is there anyone that thinks "All Varieties" of coffee means "All Except Decaf"? That's dishonest period. Go a block away to hope street and they don't play these games. PS - their avocados aren't good either, pay full price and get rotten avocados.

Complained to the store manager about a deli employee who could not speak English to take a Beef Bologna order without giving me Pork Bologna and pricing it at the higher price. His response when I asked why they don’t speak English was "That is all that is out there to hire, not the answer you want but that’s the facts." How can anyone run a store like that?

Really like this store since renovation. Well stocked with staples, fresh produce, great prepared foods. A winner.

One of the lowest priced gasoline in the area. The convenient store is clean and organized.

No plantains. Ugh. Not enough choices of sherbet. Get pineapple flavor. Fruits pretty good. Peaches need to be much , much larger. Fresh fish guys are perpetually angry and slow. Otherwise the employees are pretty excellent. Deli looks immaculate. Need to get prepackaged cheese. Not individually wrapped slices. Try Melobit brand. Whatever happened to Broadcast Brand corned beef hash? Gets pretty busy early in the day.

I have lived in this area for years and have always enjoyed shopping at this market... the renovation is incredible, the staff is wonderful, the products are very well kept and classified. The only sad thing is that I can no longer buy my Peruvian products where I have been buying for years and which were always in a certain section. I don't understand why they took it out... which forces me to go to another market to buy my Peruvian products... I wonder if the owners are really ignoring this large Peruvian community that lives in this area. I hope they reconsider!
