They have so much international food. Very helpful n plenty of workers stocking shelves. Love the family vibe. They have fresh and frozen meat/ seafood.

My favorite grocery store of all time. Excellent selection of hard to find ingredients. I've been going for decades and still see something I haven't noticed before. Prices are low, especially in the fresh produce section. Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai are extremely well covered. Indian is fine but you can find better stores for Indian cuisine. This is where Southside chefs and foodie experimenters go.

If you go up and down every aisle, it's like a trip around the world. As you shop, you will find items that you didn't know you needed. Also, don't be afraid to ask employees questions, they'll be happy to assist. My last visit, I was with a friend who was shopping to make spring rolls and he got assistance from a little old Vietnamese lady who was a customer herself. Listening to her explain all the detailed steps made us both smile. Be smart when shopping the canned goods, some items can be more expensive. However, the fresh vegetables are always a good value. The meat department makes me cringe, but I know that is just me being quirky. My friend gives it a thumbs up. Customer service is okay, nothing outstanding and nothing bad. It's just okay. The cashiers get you out the door in an orderly way.

It's a nice place to shop. Good car parking space, good friendly affectionate staff, They want to expedite service rendering in a peaceful environment. The store is well equipped, arranged and neat. Good housekeeping prices affordable, though inflation is also showing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean store, it doesn’t smell fishy even though they sell many types of marine creatures. The only thing they could improve on is listing each item with pricing that is easy to find. I liked the store and I will frequent it.

It has a lot of rare ethnic foods. I don't know them all, but it includes Mexican, South American, Asian, Indian, and Slavic foods. They have an incredible selection of preserves and can attest to the quality of too many of them. But mostly, I there for Coconut sugar. But they have some unique fresh produce. Pretty much every region on earth is somewhere in their shelves, refrigerator or freezer.

I visited Jay International Food Co on this past Sunday. I'd been here only briefly before, but this time I took my time. I was amazed at what I saw available in this market. First of all, when they say international, they mean international. There are foods from all over the world in here...Asian, African, South American etc. Everything I saw had English names on them and many the foreign name for that food as well. There was a large section of fresh produce to choose from all sorts of greens to fruits and other vegetables. There's several frozen food cases when they had everything from frozen meats/non-meats to desserts. There's a fresh meat section in the back of the store from chicken to seafood. And of course, many isles of stocked food items to choose from such as pastas, seasonings, snacks and pantry style items. There was people in the store with some aisles a little crowded, but it was fine as I looked around. Everyone seemed nice and friendly and from a variety of cultures. As I checked things out I saw some awesome deals on things and I'd recommend you take your time to shop to find some of your own. I found big blocks of you for less than $1.50 when they're a lot more at other stores. I bought a package of cooked noodles as well as seasonings. Y'all I love experimenting with different things and couldn't wait to try these items out. I am looking forward to returning so that I can find more food items to create meals with. The store does have a small parking lot on the side, but it's usually crowded. I'd suggest parking on the street. The store is wheelchair accessible with aisles wide enough for a wheelchair. Do utilize your cell phone to research items you may be unfamiliar with. This is what I ended up doing as well. Checkout was two lanes, but not that long of a wait. They accept cash, debit and credit cards. This is my new food market that I'll be frequenting more often. Hopefully, you explore and feel the same. You won't regret it. #Tonetta
