Oriental Market

I absolutely love shopping at Oriental Market for my Indian cooking needs! As soon as I step inside, the familiar smell of a store and atmosphere instantly transport me back to my home country. The lady who runs the store is incredibly kind and always goes out of her way to help. She even informs me about product availability and when specific items, like curry leaves and mint leaves that are otherwise hard to find in Spokane, will be in stock. They have an extensive selection of ingredients/products from India, as well as from Thailand, Korea, and various countries in Africa. Whether you're looking for spices, sauces, or specialty items, they have it all! They receive a fresh batch of various leaves, including curry and mint, every Wednesday. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place. Excellent selection for Thai, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, oriental, African and other ethnic cuisine - organized and decently priced. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff.

Love this store! It has the most amazing drinks and food i came 2x this week alone! Its worth looking into recipes and going and finding what you need! Very friendly and helpful in both the workers and customers. A great atmosphere and quick check out! Doesnt matter if there are 4 people or 40 you get through quick. Love these guys and will become my routine place again! I used to come 10 years ago and get hard candy for school but now i shop for great food!(:

I discovered The Oriental Market in the early '80s and have been a fan since. Great selections, fair prices and the lady owner is terrific, makes me feel at home. I enjoy exploring the lables and trying new items, it's like being on an East Asian vacation.

I love this store, friendly owners always willing to help. Great selection of many hard to find items. I just enjoy wandering through the store finding new things!

Cramped store packed to the ceiling with so many options. Japanese, Thai, Korean Chinese and Vietnamese goods. Found a small rice cooker and basic Japanese staples here. Very friendly woman at the check out of this family run business.

Be careful buying here, the lady likes to sneak in a few bucks since she types up her own prices, make sure she trypes up what's actually on the product, she's kinda of a scammer! Have done it multiple times and I've given her the benefit of the doubt and still does this to alot of people, sucks because she sells a bunch of stuff others don't.
