K Town Supermarket

I usually enjoy shopping at this store in the evenings. However, for some time now, there has been an older Chinese male employee who is consistently rude and disrespectful. This is the first review I’ve ever written in my life, and it’s unfortunate that it has to be such a negative one. Yesterday, Saturday evening, I originally didn’t even want to return, but I ended up shopping here again. Every time I shop, this employee constantly interferes, telling me what items are "better" and asking what I’m looking for, even when I did not ask for any help. His behavior is intrusive, annoying, and makes the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Things crossed the line when he started confronting my family members who were shopping with me. Due to his rude and aggressive behavior, we were unable to complete our shopping and had no choice but to proceed directly to the checkout. I attempted to check out with another Chinese male employee, but this older man insisted that I come to him instead. Even during checkout, he continued speaking in a disrespectful manner until the very end of the transaction. I will never shop at this store again. I sincerely hope that this person is not the owner, because his tone, attitude, and lack of basic manners completely ruin the experience every single time.

It’s a clean and easy to find everything store. Staff is always friendly and patient with you. I shop here weekly for my groceries sometimes even twice. Their produce section is exceptional, I can’t find fresher fruits & vegetables anywhere else around this area. Prices are cheap and reasonable. The store is always busy especially during holidays, but cashiers work quickly. Sometimes, I stop by late at night after work and I get help from the guys to take my stuff to my car, especially when i buy water. I’ve been shopping here almost four years with only one issue, which is to find parking otherwise it’s my favorite place.

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recurring issue at your store. I am a regular customer, but I have repeatedly experienced serious problems when an older Chinese cashier is working. On multiple occasions, I found this cashier asleep at the register. Each time I needed to check out, I either had to wake him up myself or ask another employee to do so. After waking up, he would immediately process my purchase, but the total on the receipt was incorrect. This has not happened just once or twice it has now occurred three times. While occasional mistakes are understandable, repeated billing errors are not acceptable. During my most recent visit, when I returned to point out the incorrect charge, the cashier responded dismissively, saying, "I don’t care, it’s not my money. I don’t take money from you." This response was highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a customer facing role. Due to this experience, I left the store extremely frustrated. Unfortunately, unless this issue is addressed, I will avoid shopping at this location on days when this cashier is working.I hope management will take this matter seriously and ensure better staff supervision and customer service standards in the future.

This supermarket is very busiest as I seen we can get vegetables, fruits, soft drinks, meat, chocolates, flowers, milk, and other grocery related items and I also see everything was fresh and good. The only thing was price was a little higher compared to the other stores but the place is maintained very well and clean and responsive staff And everything is arranged in an organised way so people can find easy. I would recommend everyone to visit to purchase vegetables grocery stuff and everything on their basic needs.

I have been going to K town grocery store for an year. I appreciate that how clean and organize you guys are compare to other grocery stores in the neighborhood! However, some of your cashier are extremely rude and unprofessional. I try to avoid cashier Selina,she is extremely unprofessional. I'm not sure why she never help customer with bag. Last week I politely told her can I buy a bag she just throw the bag top of my groceries and shows attitude as if buying bag is a crime. When I am packing my bag she told me three times to pay as if I don't know that. This person needs some training from manager. This is not first time this racist lady was disrespectful. I saw few times. K town management, please do better and teach her some manners. Thanks

Fresh, Affordable, and Impressive! I stopped by K Town Supermarket near JFK Airport and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and freshness of the fruits. Unlike other markets in the area that tend to be overpriced, this place offers high-quality produce at very reasonable prices. Everything looked clean, well-stocked, and inviting. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh and affordable groceries!

We love coming here to get veggies and fruit. They always have a great selection and fresh. However the meat is a little over priced. They do take wic and EBT here. And the snack section is nice as well. My kids love it and also a new addition is the dubi chocolate. I also wish they would update the shovels and fridges they are old looking. They need to be updated.
