Skokie International Market (Asian Grocery Store)

I’m so excited after my friends told me about this place. Visited last Sunday and never disappointed! Yes there are more like Asian stuffs but I’m okay with it. The price is good, the product line is various. They have a lot of discounts and promotions going on now. The place is clean, cashiers are friendly and helpful. Recommend!

Went to the store on opening day. They were still working on the lighting so one isle was being blocked by a ladder. This store is a great find in the Northwest suburbs, as it provides closer access to international items that would normally be found in Chicago or in the far west suburbs. Will definitely return On the second visit I was able to find everything I needed. Also, all the isles were now clear. During this visit, I had a question about an item and I was pleased to experience helpful employees that have great customer service skills. Management also is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to please it's customers. I look forward to stopping here again soon.

A good-sized Asian market with a large variety of frozen imported items, as well as fresh produce and dry goods. Cheerful service and more vegetarian options than the usual Korean market. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Glad to see an interesting store is finally occupying this long-empty building. I have shopped at many larger Asian stores, including Assi Plaza, H Mart and Joong Market. Although this store shows promise, the prices were average if not a little high for some items and the layout was meh, at best. They do have an interesting selection and some items that I haven't seen elsewhere. On a negative note, the parking lot is a mess and only one cashier was open. I was hardly going to stand in line for a 69 cent cookie, especially since two toddlers were imploding in front of me, screaming on top of their lungs. Their dad was trying gallantly to break up their fighting. I won't ever come back on a Sunday, but may give it another try if I'm in the area on a weekday!

Well stocked Asian grocer that's a great addition to the neighborhood! Much bigger and cleaner than Richwell nearby, smaller than Park to Shop and H-Mart, but more than adequate for daily needs, with specialty vegetables, meats, pantry items, frozen desserts, snacks, and Chinese bakery items on weekends. Their baked goods are usually in stock until evening due to low foot traffic. Unfortunately they no longer sell live seafood and never offered Chinese BBQ, so we still have to visit Richwell or Park to Shop. Sadly their Asian beauty section has shrunk from when they first opened months ago and they sold Japanese sunscreens like Biore and Hatomugi toner. Those days are no more, but they still sell the popular Fino and Tsubaki hair masks and hair care. They also have a handful of Sanrio items! Check out is usually fast as the store is usually not busy.

They have a big variety of Asian stuff ! Found my favorite abc jellies here and golden kiwis which are hard to find in any grocery store. Also, they have unique snacks and drinks which made the trip worth coming to

I was super excited for this place to open but was let down very fast. Produce section is horrible. There were friends and vegetables molding and sitting on the shelves. Things weren’t clean at all. They have a big selection on Asian groceries which was nice. The live seafood didn’t smell good, eggs were past their expiry date. Meat didn’t look fresh. I was hoping to walk out with a decent amount of stuff but I walked out with absolutely nothing. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here! So sad I wish it would have been better.
