Bao Bao Food Market

I strongly advise against shopping here. We were overcharged for item, the amount on the receipt was higher than the listed prices, the sticker says 4.99, but charged 6.23. I was very disappointed by this lack of honesty. The prices at this store are much higher than neighboring Asian markets, the owner should really think about that. Additionally, several of the vegetables were moldy, yet they were still being sold, and the fridge where fresh vegetables and fruit are kept has a displeasing odor. And one more thing, half the shelves are empty. Overall, we did not enjoy our visit, I would strongly advise shopping for delicious Asian products elsewhere.

Went in for a quick moment to check what’s there..it had a huge selection of Asian food with all kinds of noodles,Ramen,Rice paper and stuff like that which was good.The veggie aisle was not that impressive with lots of food going bad or in the process of going bad which is a waste.Meat selection was limited and everything was not that organized at this moment,Amy be they are in the process of setting it up or changing stuff so maybe will come back again sometime ..the girl in the counter was welcoming and courteous.

Way way much better than we have in our area. Staff are nice and you can get almost anything you looking for. Thank you! Keep it up guys. 😉

Cindy was very delightful and helpful in helping me find what I needed. Was able to get lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and thai basil as well as other items needed for my dish. It was my first time in there as I'm new to the area but will be back. Totally worth the drive from Marshall, Texas for those hard to find items.

This is a cool place to have in Louisiana. It is nice to see some other cultures stuff here for where I am. I always like trying new things, and I think that this place has many to try.

Such a very nice woman and her young son running the place. Enjoyed shopping and finding a few snacks I used to eat when I lived in Thailand. Definitely heading back soon ❤️

Mainly Vietnamese focused store with some Chinese/Japanese/Korean items. Mainly pantry and shelf items but also has some fresh produce both on display and within the fridges. Variety of frozen goods as well. Some shelves were empty, but there was a decent amount of items in the store in general. There was no AC in store 7/25.
