Ora Super Market

Upon entering. 2 ladies standing with cashier talking..no greeting or.acknowlegment. Not the best meat selection and prices are comparable to big box stores. They did carry large/bulk packages. We weren't impressed with selections or service.

You're better off going to Wells and Jenkins in Forest City. This place reaks, has spoiled meat and don't even attempt to go inside in the summer time, flies everywhere! I left empty handed. 🤢

I prefer to support small businesses however, today we went to restock our butter supply and couldn't purchase any because they all had mold on them. Please do better..

I went to Ora Market for the 1st time today. And bought a beautiful prime rib. They even cut it down as requested. They even had very nice fresh produce and local items. I've included pictures of what I purchased.

Good selection of meat - beef, chicken, pork, lobster, and more - and a knowledgeable staff that are always willing to help you make your choice. They have some bundle deals that will fill up your freezer or provide enough meat for a really awesome cookout. They have some produce and seasoning options to choose from, including local seasoning mixes from NC, as well although the produce selection is somewhat limited. Ora has been around for a long time and I've never had a negative experience while shopping there. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they were completely out of New York Strips yesterday (2-August-2018). The Ora staff said that they would have more New York Strips the following day. I did find a good looking three pack of Ribeyes and was really tempted by their bacon wrapped Filet Mignon. The Ribeye steaks were $8.99 per pound yesterday which, according to a Google search on 2-August-2018, is less than or equal to the price for Ribeyes at several wholesale clubs including Sam's and Costco.

When you go into the Ora's Supermarket, they do greet you. It always has a smell, that is not welcoming but the owner of the place helped my partner and I out and she was the sweetest woman. I did not get her name but she told us that she used to be a teacher. They helped us get cases of meat at reasonable prices being that we were needing enough meet for a birthday cookout. I give this place four stars. You can't beat good customer service!!

The best place to buy fresh meat at a great price , Will cut to order. Have always got my steaks there, never had a bad cut of beef . Great price on chicken and everything in store. Fresh tomatoes and I buy Hot Dogs by the case another great deal. Will be back again and again . Great people to deal with always friendly and helpful.
