Dollar General

10/15/2025: I went earlier to purchase Forever Pals a few big bags of cat litter and was told to go back later. I returned later around 7:19pm; however they didn't have any at all other than the smaller bags. The worker said they don't have that kind and I told her I've purchased them before.

Though the store did not have things in the isles like others. The store had not much product on the shelves. There was a lot of product on the top shelve, there was two employees but one was on the register the other kind of working on an overflow cart. They were chitchat away about a movie and things. Good thing I could reach the top shelve for what I wanted.

Had a ridiculous experience with an incompetent manager and an employee that both agued that a discount was given for something marked 25% off. They refused to mark it down as shown on the shelf. I will not be going back.

Ive been here multiple times. Never had a bad experience. One of the managers named Heather i think has always been helpful and nice. It seems like she is there almost all the time and has never once been rude to me. Out of the three in town i will continue to go to this one cause of service availability of items and general cleanliness. Sometimes they're out of something but are always working on trying to get things back in stock.

I was in the store today 9.23.2023 between 430-500 or so. But I don't know how the rest of Shawnee feels but I don't go to the store to listen to coworkers tell their personal relationship business to the world. We all have our own problems and listening to the staff speak of a break up and not even acknowledging the customers standing in front of them is rude and its inconsiderate.

Wow this is the 1st time I've ever visited this Dollar General store in Shawnee Oklahoma, and I loved it! The place was huge, well organized very clean and both the employees that's were in there was so helpful! They both were busy but it didn't stop them from helping me and not making me feel like I was a bother! If you are ever in the area stop by and enjoy shopping! 😁

Couldn't even get a women's bathroom key. Said mens was open and it had urine and pubic hair on it an smelled horrible so I just left. Never going there again.
