Valley Supermarket

Comparatively new Indian grocery store in Scranton, but a good one. You will get lots of Indian grocery items here. Prices are reasonable. The vegetables are not always fresh though. Few added advantages are a in store medicine counter and sometimes you will get sweets from Sukhadia. Overall a good store with lots of stock and options.

The store is super clean, well-organized, and everything always feels fresh. Neliam is the sweetest — she goes out of her way to help me and my 78-year-old mom in a wheelchair. She somehow just knows what we’d like and totally gets our taste buds as white folks. Such a lovely experience every time!

the vegetables go bad in one or two days in refrigerator. buy them the day you cook. it is possible that i am not lucky to have the freshest vegetables.

The store is big nice and clean. There is parking outside the store. Lots of variety for Indian stuff.

KOST is the best! The people there are helpful, friendly, always willing to answer questions, and they know what they're doing! Mike is especially a great manager! He runs a tight ship and cars get serviced in a timely fashion. Prices are reasonable and I am never disappointed with the service they do on my car. Thanks guys! You're the best!

They have a great selection of self-care products near the pharmacy, and although the market carries some important necessities, be aware that this is mainly an Indian/Eastern food grocer. They have a decent selection of alcohol in the back, sell cigarettes & lottery tickets, and some kitchen ware. The produce is somewhat foreign & not always fresh. But they do have a very large variety of items if you have the time to go through the isles & look around for a while. I find myself there at least twice a week! ♡⋆☽
