I was on a temporary family visit this August 2024 to Santa Cruz, coming from Beirut, Lebanon, and I needed to continue exercising Taekwondo, and I landed on KMAA, and lucky me! Grand Master Jin and teachers accommodated me for 2 weeks with the adults sessions (I am senior at 64), and it was indeed an exceptional experience, and most welcoming by the Masters and team of trainees. This has helped me conquer my anxiety and build up my confidence. I have tried to pass on this knowledge in my own home town. Continued success and training have all been due to my development at Korean Martial Arts Academy. Nothing compares to learning from a Grandmaster that has not forgotten his roots. Love this!

I was a student at GM Jin's martial arts academy for approx. 2 years in the 90's. GM Jin is a great instructor with a contagious smile. It was a wise investment in that I had long term benefits for the hard work. My only criticism is that I thought we should have done a little more sparring.

Hi my name is Soren I’m 13 years old I have been doing this martial arts class for about a year and a half I have learned so much I am a blue belt now and master jin and the other instructors have helped me in the best possible ways you get a very great work out and it is very good discipline there is a 4:30 class to 5:30 and I have. Choose to do the 5:30 class lately it is very good I am very very pleased with master jin he is very helpful and helping we do lots of blocks for kicks and punching and it really works this place has showed me lots of respect and support.

Korean Martial Arts Academy is a place where I have grown to strive in excellence in TaeKwonDo. It is owned and run by Grand master Sang U. Jin, he was the one who brought TaeKwon Do to this area. Today I am a 2nd Degree black belt thanks to the work he has put me through. It is great for adults and children, their little tigers class is for 3-5 year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3pm. 6+ have classes on Monday-Friday, 3:30-4:30 or 4:30-5:30. They have and adults only class on Saturdays at 11am. I hope this will inspire you to go there, you will achieve and succeed.

Master Jin is great! He keeps the kids excited about Taekwondo while teaching them to stay focused. I love that all ages are welcome at many different times
