So sick and tired of this location Consistently Selling expired / outdated products. this issue has now happened at least 10 times. In the past, I have found expired prosciutto, cheese, and most recently, in the non-alcoholic beer section, I purchased a Lagunitas Hazy IPA that was packaged in March 2025 meaning it had been sitting on the shelf for over 10 months. The product was clearly far beyond any reasonable freshness or quality window. At this point, this is not an isolated mistake it reflects a systemic inventory rotation and quality control problem. Customers should not have to double-check expiration or packaging dates on every purchase. I expect better attention to food quality and freshness.

Just another whole foods in the Bay Area. A typical upscale grocery chain for organic fresh produce, ready to eat meals, a very good meat and seafood sections etc.

TO THE STORE OWNER / MANAGEMENT: I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to share this feedback so it reaches the store owner and management. To the owner and management of the Whole Foods Market Santa Clara location please read this. I shop at this store weekly and my main concern is the decline in skill and consistency in the meat department. Since the staff change some employees will attempt to cut meat but clearly do not know how to do it properly while others refuse to cut meat at all unless a specific butcher is present. Before this change every staff member behind the meat counter knew how to properly cut meat and could handle requests confidently. This creates a frustrating experience for customers because the level of service depends entirely on which employee happens to be working. Cutting meat should be a basic requirement for anyone staffing the meat counter especially at a store of this standard. This feedback is meant to be constructive. Please provide proper training so all meat department staff are able to confidently and correctly cut meat without requiring a specific butcher to be present. Many regular customers are experiencing the same issue but do not take the time to write reviews. I would appreciate a response from store management regarding how this issue will be addressed. I enjoy shopping at this location and hope to see the meat department return to the level of service it once had.

You can find all food you need for your home. There is a cooked food you can take away or you can eat it in the beer bar area. Watching football game with friends. Vegan, vegetarian and traditional food is available. Quality is a very good and you can find everything. Enjoy:)

What is there not to like about whole foods. They have all the foods that are healthy for you and then some that aren't. Regardless, I love shopping at this whole foods

Clean Store, friendly staff. The Berry Chantilly Cake was the bomb.

11.27.25 12pm Open to 1pm on Thanksgiving Day. It was totally PACKED with fellow non-Thanksgiving cooking people. The line and wait for organic rotisserie chicken was 20 min and as soon as it was your turn they handed you the quantity you requested. Wholefoods has the best rotisserie chicken so happy to have waited for them. Their pre-made food was selling out also with people, again, in lines to buy per pound. We also get the seasoned deli roast beef here instead of traditional baked ham as it's less salty, mom needs to stay away from salty foods for her kidneys, though she loves baked ham. This is our favorite Wholefoods location. And love that Wholefoods is open to 1pm on Thanksgiving unlike Costcos, which are all closed.
