Nan Hai Corporation

I was visiting the area and I wanted tea. I went into this shop on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I am not an expert but have gone to various tea stores with friends. I got great recommendations and this is a lot cheaper than buying things online or other mainstream tea stores. Be open minded and support the locals, you won't regret it. Thanks to Mr. Wayne Chu, owner, who helped make excellent recommendations.

Nice shop; good range of price options per type of thing you want; nice people working there, very sweet and helpful. Please support Chinatown businesses; they’ve been victimized by looters and violent criminals — not enough has been done to protect them. Where is the public outrage and action on their behalf?

First time buying chinese herbs and the store lady was really kind and helpful with my request, and also gave me a discount on american ginseng.

They have a lot of interesting items here. We came in today looking for some sea cucumbers. They have ones from South America and Japan. They were helpful figuring out what to get. As I wandered around the store saw a variety of dried mushrooms, ginger? And even dried insects. Even if you don't want any of these items, it's eye opening to see what kinds of foods are even available.

Lots of interesting items and mushrooms. Big store with good selection

People are nice. Variety!
