What nice people!! The young Asian service boy was helping the older man secure his produce even though he had other tasks to complete! The clientele was a complete representation of many cultures. The desert offerings were to die for!! Then the frozen food section was amazing. There were many different kinds of meat and delicacies available at the store. The had a lot of Asian liquor. Then there was the already cooked food. I had a few snacks while there. I may have frightened a few people as I took their photo but once I explained my project they seemed at ease. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, you know large white man snapping photos at the Asian market and all. In the end everyone was in a good mood and happy while shopping, especially the youngsters I gave stickers to.

Best fresh seafood market - loads of live lobster (lobster Americanus, aka "real lobster", not California spiny ). Best prices I’ve seen in San Diego. Picked up 8 for a lobster boil, absolutely delicious (hint - don’t boil, steam). They can cook in-house too. Also had live blue crab and live Dungeness crab, along with a huge assortment of other seafood. Can’t believe I’ve lived in SD for 10 years (east coast transplant) and never knew this place existed. We’ve been paying through the nose to have lobster flown in - not anymore.

Can’t say much about in person experience but they do offer app based delivery which is convenient. Driver delivered groceries on time and communicates via text messaging for some of the replacements for the items that were out of stock.

I love this little place 😇 You can find me with the hair products, that’s my artistry 🐣 I love beauty. I love 99 Ranch Market. Also, some beautiful humans inside the store brought me & my dog River, an entire supply of food & treats that they had at home. This act of kindness will never be forgotten. Therefor, this location & these people, will never be forgotten. 🙌🏽🤍

The newer Ranch 99 location offers a refreshing shopping experience compared to the older Clairemont store. The spacious aisles and well-organized layout make it a breeze to navigate, even during busier times. This location is less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable visit. One of the standout features is the impressive selection of fresh meats and fish. The quality and variety are excellent, making it a go-to spot for those seeking top-notch ingredients for their meals. The produce section is also noteworthy, offering a wide array of fresh fruits and vegetables that are sure to satisfy any grocery list. Adding to the convenience, there is a small food court adjacent to the store. This area provides a nice option for grabbing a quick bite after shopping, featuring a variety of tasty and affordable choices. Overall, the newer Ranch 99 location shines with its well-organized store layout, excellent selection of fresh meats, fish, and produce, and the added bonus of a nearby food court. It’s a delightful spot for both routine grocery shopping and culinary exploration.

Very nice Asian store with bakery, fresh seafood, produce and eateries. Great variety of sauces, noodles, treats and more!

I usually like coming here to get the fresh hot soy milk and dimsum at the hot deli section. There's a new girl with lip piercing today was amazing. She was fast, courteous, and on top of getting all my orders packed, she was able to quickly help me checked out at the cashier. I'm like damn girl, I'm impressed. Last week there was a super nice young lady cashier saw it was carrying all these hot food even offered get me the special hot food carrying bag. I also get my Asian snack fix here. Usually they have all the ones that I likes. Sometime the old 99 Ranch on Clairemont would not import the snack that I like for a while I was able to find it here.
