Went there from Elk Grove to get Naan and they gave me the worse Naan from yesterday. Don’t go for Naan here!

I smelled fresh bread when I walked by. I went in and asked the nice fellow behind the counter, "I smell bread. Is it here?" He yells to another guy to get me bread, and out from a tiny bakery tucked in the back of the store comes this HUGE round shirmal, shiny and still hot. I didn’t even ask the price. Turns out it was $1.99. Check out this place for a very cool experience. UPDATE: It’s called by a new name now, Bakhtar, but it’s the same folks.

If you want real Afghani/ middle Easter Halal products this is the right place, I encourage you to visit this supermarket. Staff and the owner is really friendly, You will experience the best and the kindest customer service, you will save in everything you shop here. The have the freshest Halal meet ( Fresh Lamb, Beef/ ground beef, full/ half chicken, drum sticks, chicken breast and chicken wings) so it worth a try! And while you are there ask for the fresh Naan (hot and fresh bread)🤙🤙

The most wort market ever because the cashiers always make the payment to much. For example some food cost less and they double the price on you. I hate these who do these type of stuffs. It’s not fair because most people don’t have EBT the pay from their own pocket.
