Customer Reviews
Reliance SuperMart has a rating of 4 out of 5 based on over 122 reviews on Google
The produce is mostly stale unless you go on a specific day. The service is good but the prices are at least 10 to 15 percent higher than other Indian grocery stores around Sac area
Please read this review thoroughly—both the store management and anyone planning to shop at the Folsom or Roseville locations. Today, my grandmother and I visited the Roseville location, and this experience pushed me to write this review. Let me start by saying I’ve had issues with this store in 2021. Didn't go back till today and hilariously it’s still the same. Back then, during the rice shortage, I bought rice and realized the price charged was higher than the price displayed. I let it go at the time, thinking it was a one-time issue. However, after today, I will never be shop at either the Roseville or Folsom locations again. I rarely write reviews—only when an experience is exceptionally good or extremely bad. Unfortunately, this is the latter. What happened today is beyond frustrating; it's downright unethical. My grandmother, who lives on Social Security and is in her mid-80s, bought valor papdi from a box that had a different price tag underneath it—$2.99 for snake gourd. Please do tell management, how is an elderly woman supposed to notice that or even realize the price tag belongs to something else? After I brought this to the attention of an employee, he corrected it and moved the box. I want to be clear: this is not the employee’s fault, but a failure of management. It’s careless at best and deceitful at worst. Sadly, this isn’t just a Roseville issue—the Folsom location is no better. I’ve experienced the same misleading pricing practices there as well. I even let that slide because I was buying items for the Indian temple next door. But at this point, it's a pattern. Scamming and misleading elderly customers, or anyone for that matter, is unacceptable. This isn’t just bad service or business it’s straight up exploitation. I am attaching pictures for reference. **This was the last straw. I will not be returning—**not even if it were the last store on Earth.
Great place to get coming Indian grocery items. They have a large selection of North Indian, South Indian and western Indian cuisine and daily grocery items. Frozen section has a great variety of parathas, snacks like samosas and kachoris, wheat chapatis etc and also some different types of frozen fish. One thing that I do not like is that most of items do not have prices. The price sticker is either missing, or if present is incorrect. You kinda have to guess the range or take it to the front for them to scan and give you the correct price. Best thing about this specific location is the Bakery Bites. This is like a small food court inside the store at the back side. Bakery bites has great selection of Indian chaat, pastries, a few main course items such as paneer masala and pulao etc. They have three types of puffs such as Veg puff, Paneer puff etc. Definitely try the samosa chaat and dahi puri. Everyday of the week bakery bites has a BOGO deal on some specific food items. See attached picture for information and other items available on menu. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have live chaat and reduced price on some chaat items. It’s typically 6$ instead of 8$ for samosa chaat, dahi puri, paani puri, papdi chaat. Overall a great place to buy Indian grocery and grab some desi snacks.
Reliance Supermarket is always my go-to place! The store is well-organized, clean, and has everything I need. Staff are polite and helpful, and prices are very reasonable compared to other places. Shopping here is quick and convenient—I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend this store to everyone!
I always find everything I need here. From organic staples, chutneys, and spices. They have the best selection of frozen paratha. The best part of my shopping experience is always treating myself to some of their fresh made food. Samosa Chaat, lamb curry, and pani puri have been our favorite so far- but it’s all been WOW delish! Looking forward to trying the dosa next time 🙂
Chole Bhatura are excellent by USA standards but not as good as haveli in Punjab. A bit spicy but the best I have eaten in USA so far
Probably the first big box(or medium box) Indian grocery store in Roseville/Rocklin area. Spacious aisles, lots of varieties. There is also a chaat section for takeout. They are apparently open until 10 pm everyday which is a sigh of relief. Overall a much needed Bay-Area style Indian grocery shopping experience in Rocklin.
