GW Supermarket

Ok this is one if not the most authentic Pho places I’ve been. The broth was amazing and the dessert sooooo simply delicious 😋

Very poor customer service at checkout. My card didn’t go through at first, and the cashier repeatedly blamed me and spoke rudely instead of helping. Disappointing experience.

I hate to write negative reviews, but I felt this one was rightfully deserved. While the stuff here may be cheaper, I strongly advise you to shop at any other asian supermarket if you can. The service here is almost non-existent, and the employees are generally rude and uncaring. I also got my backpack confiscated which is weird since it never happened anywhere else I’ve been to. Maybe it’s because of securities cameras not installed or lack of security activity? The store overall isn’t the cleanest as well. During checkout, I couldn’t understand the lady because she has an accent and after trying to clarify, she got angry at me and uncaringly toss my stuff to the bag. I’ve seen some level of disrespect from a supermarket, but not even close to what I’ve experienced here. You’re better off going to walmart down the road, they’ve got customer service.

Place is cleaner than other Asian supermarkets. No carryout cook food like 99 Ranch though. Selections fewer than 99 Ranch. This supermarket looks bright, possibly because it used to be a well run Korean supermarket and GW keeps the original arrangement. Parking lot is well managed and it is not too difficult to find parking. General prices are a bit higher than average. There are some good deals that are on sale though.

Great Wall Market is located in a shopping center filled with a variety of restaurants; Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese. It’s a specialized Asian American supermarket that was first established in New York in 2004. Catering to Asian immigrants GW market offers Asian products in a supermarket-style retail operation. The market was very clean when I arrived. The shelves were stocked and although customer service was lacking, if I was in the area and needed Asian groceries, I would stop by.

This shopping is huge. First time coming to this plaza, different kind of vendors. Find parking is kind of difficult, many people going for dinner, or to the market. Inside the market the variety is enormous, many different foods and their variation surprise me. The snacks are so many, and the variety is phenomenal. I would rate this plaza with five amazing 🌟. I was looking for 🐂tail. I did not like the look of the meat, so I just postponed the purchase of that delicious oxtail.
