Ebisu Japanese Life Store in Maryland

Found some great deals. Not as much makeup as teso life but some better prices on stationary and cleaner and household things. Found some cute lip tint. The claw machines don’t require tokens from the cashier. You can just use cash. Less crowded than Teso Life. Friendly and helpful staff. Love this store. I’ll be back!

Great store with a bit of everything for everyone! Love coming here to try different snacks, drinks, self care items, and play some claw games! It's also a really fun store for anybody into japanese pop culture. It's easy to get lost in the aisles and feel a bit overwhelmed because there's so much lol. Pokemon, sanrio, anime, etc., and a lot of the items are reasonably priced!

A go-to spot for face masks, BB cream, and Japanese sweets! This place is my favorite whenever I need skincare essentials or a little treat. Everything is well-organized and fairly priced, making it easy to find what I need without overspending. They also have a bunch of fun claw machines in the back, which adds to the charm. Just keep in mind that parking is limited, so plan accordingly. Definitely worth a visit!

Was happy to see some tea PET bottles but where are the Itoen teas? Please stock

I bought two bags of snacks from Ebisu during a "buy one, get one free" deal, and when I got home, I realized they were already expired. The only date on the package was March 23, 2025, and today is April 1, 2025. When I called the store, they didn’t even apologize and just told me, "It was on sale for a reason" and refused to give me a refund or return. On top of that, the receipt doesn’t even list the actual product name, which makes it harder to track purchases. If they’re going to sell expired food, they should at least be upfront about it. Definitely won’t be shopping here again.

I recently had an amazing visit to Ebisu Japanese Life Store and was truly impressed by the variety and quality of the products. This store offers a diverse selection of Japanese goods, including home decor, kitchenware, snacks, and personal items. I picked up some delicious goodies to try and a few cute keychains, which were perfect souvenirs from my visit. One of the coolest features of the store is the amazing prize machine in the back—it adds an extra fun element to the shopping experience and is definitely worth checking out! It’s also worth noting that the entire store’s signage, product labels, and descriptions are in Japanese. While this adds to the authentic experience, it may pose a challenge for those who aren’t familiar with the language. Though the staff was helpful, translation assistance was somewhat limited, so exploring the items required a bit of patience and understanding of Japanese products. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the store’s offerings were thoughtfully curated, making for a truly immersive shopping experience. If you’re looking for a cultural destination and are open to navigating the language barrier, Ebisu Japanese Life Store is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to try something unique and authentic.

Great selection of various Japanese goods at reasonable prices. There is also a section in the back full of UFO catchers filled with collectibles.
