Gorkhas Grocery Store

I had a great shopping experience at Gorkhas Grocery Store in Rochester! They have an excellent selection of international and everyday grocery items, including fresh produce, deli goods, and specialty Nepali products that you won’t find everywhere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. I highly recommend Gorkhas Grocery Store for anyone looking for authentic global groceries and quality service in the area.

Momo’s are the best, and the chatpat, chowmein and chicken fry are also good. Talking about groceries, we can find everything like titura, chachar, gundruk, all types of Nepali noodles and all, also some authentic Nepali utensils.

I believe this Nepali grocery is the only place in town you can get Momo (dumplings). There's a little kitchen in the back and it's a little hit and miss with what is available, but you'll get dishes here with flavor profiles that I think you can't get anyplace else in town (please correct me if you know another Nepali joint).

I'm not familiar with traditional nepalese food so I can't speak to authenticity - but their momo's and chat pat are some of the best food I've had in Rochester.

Grocery store is decent, but the food is horrible. They even put chana (dried chickpeas) in samosa and chicken chowmein. Chicken momo was filled with cabbage and with very little chicken. I am not hating all the way. I think they have a decent grocery section .

Delicious food cooked fresh! Traditional Nepali food and very fresh produce!
