My wife just delivered our son at Valley and she was on a 10month sushi hiatus. Let’s just say 10/10. Japanese couple run this little shop with out of this world sushi. Call to place an order. We had the super sushi deluxe and a few regular rolls. Best sushi in tristate.

My partner ordered us a Super Sushi Deluxe ($32) to celebrate my 10-month no sushi ban right after delivery of our baby. It was so incredibly fresh with premium selection of fish types and authentic techniques from the Japanese sushi chefs to make the nigiris and the rolls! Probably the best I’ve had in New Jersey, the next comparable one is Sushi Yasaka from NYC UWS.

Has most Japanese condiments and common dish materials that you’d need and in varying sizes. This allows for a quick in-and-out to grab a spare or a dedicated run to stock up for recipes. It has a good frozen selection of instant dishes, vegetables and treats alongside a snack section if that’s your vibe. On size: a very small store but not cramped unless it’s unusually very busy. Overall, it’s extremely solid 💪

This was my first time trying the sushi following a recommendation, super friendly staff, when you walk in they made sure I was being helped and answered any questions I had. The quality of the sushi is top notch, by far the best in Ridgewood. Fish was super fresh, you can taste the care they put into their work. 10/10 will be back very soon

Hands down my favorite Japanese grocery store for sweet, treats and savory delights. The first time I tried their Sushi Super Deluxe, I was so impressed by the quality of the rice, the variety of fish, their taste and freshness. Today, I also opted for their Sushi Regular, and it was equally impressive! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and there’s always something new to discover. Don't miss their delicious rice balls when you visit.

What an awesome little grocery store. The counter girl and older woman who work there are always so pleasant and helpful (answering my questions and giving tips on what to buy). The produce is always fresh and high quality. Best place to buy hard to find Japanese ingredients.
