99 Ranch Market

Compared to the 99 Ranch Market in Daly City, this store and the mall itself are not very busy and seem to be going downhill. The produce section is more limited and not super fresh. On the other hand, shelf stable items take up lots of space. So if you want Asian snacks, you have come to the right place. I was surprised not to find Kadoya sesame oil in 11 oz bottles, a staple. But they had it only in 5.5 oz size. And I could not find any vegetarian frozen dumplings. In a pinch, this 99 Ranch is OK. This entire mall needs a shot in the arm.

I visited the store to explore the types of products they carry, especially since I was looking for Korean food, fresh vegetables, and fish. I was pleased to find that they have a good selection of Korean kimchi, as well as various Korean frozen foods. Based on what I’ve heard, this store seems to carry many of the same products as other Rack99 Markets. The fish section was also impressive. The variety and freshness of the fish available stood out, making it clear that they put effort into providing quality products in that department as well. Overall, the store seemed like a great place to find a mix of Korean and fresh produce, and I’m looking forward to returning to pick up some items I couldn’t get this time.

Car window smashed within minutes of my parking. This was during the day. I noticed two other cars with smashed windows. The mall owner should be held accountable given the previous break-ins (see previous reviews). The mall owner should have knowledge of these crimes going on for years and should have taken steps like installing security cameras, putting warnings in English and Chinese to not leave any valuables in the car, etc.

We need more 99 Ranch Makets in North America. The prices are much lower than elsewhere and the variety of products are higher than elsewhere for the same store size. Cashiers work very fast and treat customers well. Recommend.

Great produce at good prices. Big selection from cookware and utensils to fresh fish (prepared and cooked to your specs, if you want) and spices, interesting and fun snacks and seasonal items.

I just did shopping they sold Curdled soy milk so I have to throw away. Never buy this product. Not good👎

99 Ranch Market in Richmond is a very large Asian specialty grocery store catering many different Asian nationalities and local residents. It has a very large parking lot and shares a several restaurants and gift shops in the shopping complex. The prices of certain condiments have risen more than other local stores such as Safeway or Target and other smaller Asian local markets. Lots of different kinds of fresh noodles & steamed buns are available which requires refrigeration. You could buy fresh seafood and many insecure condiments and snacks too. I particularly like the fresh vegetable section sometimes offering a good deal. Tesla supercharging station is located.
