Customer Reviews
Whole Foods Market has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 2433 reviews on Google
I have been shopping at the Whole Foods Market in Plano for the past 12 years, and overall, it's a fantastic location. The store is clean, well-organized, and offers a wide selection of high-quality products. The atmosphere is inviting, and I always enjoy browsing the aisles. However, there are a couple of issues that keep it from being a five-star experience. Firstly, the staff often locks the doors and starts closing up about 30 minutes before the posted closing time. This has been a consistent inconvenience, especially when I only need to grab a single item. Additionally, they frequently seem to be out of stock on several items I regularly purchase. When I inquire about restocking, I'm often told no, despite knowing they have more in the back. Despite these minor frustrations, Whole Foods Market in Plano remains my go-to for groceries, thanks to its excellent overall quality and pleasant shopping environment
I like their sit-down area where you can have a meal, a snack or a drink and do some reading, screen time or simply chill. Only a few days after Halloween they have their Christmas plants in already!
This review is for Riley , I was influenced by TikTok to try the family meal deal . I jumped up and ran to the nearest Whole Foods I had never been to a whole foods before so I wasn’t familiar with the store layout or anything . I went to the prepared food section and I noticed the light was off and I said oh you’re closed , Riley asked me how he could help me and I said I wanted to try the meal deal . He turned the light on in the case and proceeded to ask me what he could get me . I told him what I wanted to try and then he even went to the back to get something that had run out in the case . I haven’t had that level of customer service in a long time and it left a great first impression thank you Riley !
Today I visited this Whole Foods Market, and it was my first time visiting this location. I usually go to the Dallas location, and my favorite is the Allen store. Unfortunately, this store did not meet the mark. There were certain items I wanted to purchase today, such as vegan ice cream. The pints of vegan ice cream were frost bitten, and there was not a good selection. So, I just grabbed some organic fudge bars. My husband waited to get a slice of sausage pizza at the hot foods counter. When we went to checkout the cashier was friendly, but had difficulty checking me out with the store QR code from the Prime app. She scanned it a couple of times, and said I had to swipe my Prime credit card. I never was able to use the rewards I earned. My husband bagged the groceries, and no one offered to help him. There were young employees standing around watching him bag. I asked the cashier why no one helped my husband who is disabled and three times older than the employees standing around talking (Brandon and another young lady with dark hair). My husband said he made eye contact with Brandon, but he walked away and allowed him to continue to bag the groceries. I asked the cashier to talk to the manager, and Brandon came by to talk to me. I explained to him that I was planning to complain about his performance so I needed to speak to his supervisor. Another man named Nick came by and listened. I have no idea why we were treated differently, and why we were not helped in the same way as other customers. If I wanted to bag my own groceries on my day off I would shop at Aldi or Winco, and save money.
Zero stars. This used to be my preferred Whole Foods location, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I understand that renovations are underway, but I have noticed a significant decline in both the quality of products and the level of service. The store is very dirty. Furthermore, the prices displayed on the aisles are often incorrect. On one occasion, a cashier even instructed me to return to an aisle to photograph a price so that she could provide me with the "correct" price. I am quite surprised to see that brown bananas and moldy garlic seem to be a common occurrence now. I sincerely hope that the Plano Whole Foods management can address these quality issues. Additionally, the coffee shop is frequently closed and only opens intermittently, with the recurring explanation being a broken espresso machine. I hope that management will review this feedback and take steps to rectify these problems, as I believe other customers will feel the same way. Also, I agree with the other reviews, this store USED to organized, spacious and carried a variety of items. I have stopped shopping here.
Clean, well-organized store with high-quality products and great variety. The produce is fresh, the prepared foods are convenient and tasty, and the staff is helpful. A great place to shop if you value quality and a pleasant shopping experience.
Am concerned about Whole Foods Plano and too good to go. The app has surplus items (from WF) to purchase at end of day. For example, on Friday PM after the store has closed, I purchase their meat bag to pick up the next day. I have got the WF fabulous bakery bag. When it comes to the meat bag, usually only 1 per day. I have purchased it 7-10 times and I'm canceled and the reason stated is there is no surplus that day, then magically in 3-5 hours there is surplus for someone else. This seems like they only want their friends and family to get the bag. So I'm canceled over 90% of the time and the bag comes back available 90% of the time. I just don't think this should be offered if it is only for a select few. And if a customer is canceled because no surplus that day, then they should not be allowed to make another bag available until the next day. The pictures below are my order being canceled at 9:14 and then the bag magically appearing the same day 3:27p the same day. Very suspicious.
