Such a wonderful family-owned grocery store! The owners are older and incredibly kind and helpful. They have a wide variety of products, and even shared a Thai curry recipe with me that turned out better than any restaurant in town. Shopping here feels personal—they’re always ready to help, and the gentleman even held the door open for me when my hands were full. In a world dominated by big companies, businesses like this truly deserve our support.

Love the owners. It’s absolutely crazy how so many people living in the neighbourhood don’t shop here or know about this massive store!

I would give 5/5 stars but was sold an expired Soybean paste and needed it for a soup I was making. And expired pancake mix. Buyer beware!!!

Yes, you can find quite interesting (and unexpected) fruits and vegetables, but the store needs some serious cleaning: several boxes and packages had a sticky, glue-y texture and the shelves have been collecting dust from ancient times. Needless to say there is a foul putrid smell that is kinda like rotten fish all over the place.

Love Thai cooking? They have kaffir lime leaves. They have galangal. They have lemon grass. Some items fresh frozen. They have duck. Very helpful owners. No need to travel to strip district any longer. Many, many items here.

Absolutely love this truely mom& pop store. Always find something fascinating. Friend called me while I was in store, she jumped on the bus to meet me. Only got a few things, but Okra in November makes me very happy. Plantains always make me happy. But I had close to my maximum of items without shopping cart. Friend didn't grab the cart that was over at her house. So, now I have time to decide if I want black or red rice? Hard decision - Next time will be certain she brings shopping cart, then perhaps I could get both?

Get 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 kimchi!!! 👏🏼 From what I understand, they make it themselves. I got to try some of what my friend bought when we visited a few months ago and was instantly hooked… and then addicted. I would eat, sleep, and breathe the stuff if it were humanly possible. If you’re a kimchi fan, I urge you to try theirs!
