They have Knowledge on their products. I bought four boxes of different teas and some bok choy and stir fried a nice combination of veggies for dinner. I love shopping here so I’ll be back every week.🩷

Very friendly employees/owner. You can find calbee, varieties of KitKat, yakult, chopsticks, Japanese beauty products, shampoos and hair color. I found my favorite rice which I was eating in Japan. I heard Japan TV Channel in background for a second I felt like I am in Japan. Overall this place is great if you are asian product fan. Definitely recommend this place and will visit this store again and again.

I wasnt expecting this store to be so good! Huge selection of everything you could need , i frequently shop on amazon JP and the prices in here are far better , so affordable! They have an amazing range of groceries ofcourse but what amazed me most was all of the japanese skincare, hair products and toiletries etc , all at affordable prices too. Also a great store if you are a lover of hello kitty. Im from the UK and i wish our japanese convenience stores were this amazing. 10/10 great products and nice staff

Lots of Japanese/Asian food products but primarily Japanese products. It's a small store but clean and organized. They also have fresh fruits and vegetables and alcohol and beer. They also have a selection of Japanese movies/shows and anime to rent. Staff was friendly and prices are very good.

Hatoya Mart is a hidden gem in Charlotte. It's an Authentic Japanese market/store with a fantastic selection of hot sauces, noodles, pastes, Japanese tea, beer, sake, ramen bowl, cosmetics, seafood, fresh produce, Mochi, Japanese candies you name it. They carry my favorite Japanese Natto (fermented soybean) and many more. They are priced reasonably, friendly staff, a must-visit.
