H-E-B plus!

Worst location ive ever been too. First off why close the cafe??? Second off this security guy faulted me for moving my car after getting gas and "loitering" He saw me walking around the parking lot because It was a nice day today and I walked to the verizon store and back so maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something but I don't play with security who leave their shit all over the place and harass instead of doing their job.

My 1 star review is specifically for the deli counter. While the employees are nice, they appear to be poorly trained. 3 times now I have gone to multiple different slicers asking for various items to be sliced very thin with the cut number 1 being the max. Having been a deli slicer myself, I can confirm that my request was ignored. The sample slice was accurate thickness but when I get home what I find is everything sliced double the thickness of Kraft singles. If you like chunk sandwiches then great, they will do a wonderful job for you, but if not, then you are going to want to check each slice after it is given to you before you waste your money as I have.

The store is cool but me and my son come here to get Pokémon cards out of the Kiosk and there are never any!!! It’s not fair that the managers, the security guards, and workers who get baskets all just sit in a chair all day and all evening checking it and clearing it out. They are all scalping everything ON THE CLOCK!. I’ve talk to multiple managers and security guards who brag about taking it out and reselling it for more and every time they are on the clock. It’s hard for collectors to get anything. Im gonna start calling on them every time I see it! This guy literally just stands there and checks it. I was there watching him. Just wanted to see how many times he would check it while my wife shopped for 15-20 minutes. He check it about 7-8 times in 20 minutes

Self checkout girl was unnecessarily rude over a $2 coupon that wasn't scanning properly. Tried to explain that the coupon was supposed to include the sandwich and she acted like I was lying and trying to scam heb over $2. Go to the one in Manvel instead. Parking lot and the people are much nicer.

I’ve been going to this HEB for years. Always had a good experience. But lately… I’m at the end of the line. Several weeks ago I had a small handheld basket with about 9 items. I organize my baskets very neatly, and there was no one ahead of me, so I figured it would save time and be fine to place my basket on the checkout belt for the cashier to scan. The employee takes one look, picks up the basket, and dumps it upside down on the belt. All my items dumped out and got turned upside down. I had several items damaged by this, and it was also incredibly disrespectful and rude. I understand maybe that’s not how cashiers prefer you to unload your items, but in our society we use our words and communicate that respectfully. I was so shocked I didn’t say anything. But every time I go to HEB now I think about that encounter and try to remember who it was. In addition to that, last time I went to the bakery, all the cakes frostings were melted and drippy, cakes all kinds of messed up and uneven, but yet being sold at the same price as an actually nice cake. The bakery employees were also yelling at everyone looking at the display case trying to get them to hurry up and order. I’m pretty done with this HEB.

I have been shopping at HEB for a long time and was only my place to shop for groceries. However, their customer service is getting worse and worse. The line was so long and only 1 person helping. I can’t believe that I started shopping at Randall’s and Kroger’s now. I believe HEB don’t give a crap about their customer any more after they have established their market. Start shopping some whereelse everyone.

Another H.E.B that doesn't disappoint. Super clean with the best products and employees. Just stopped for a few items as we just arrived at our current RV park. Looking forward to a real shopping experience in a few days.
