If you’re from the Caribbean and craving flavors that truly taste like home, this is the place to shop. They carry the authentic ingredients and staples that bring back that real island feeling. Like Callaloo, yam, Pigtail, pig foot, mutton etc. If you can't find it ask an employee and they will be happy to assist you.

Great place to eat and shop all In one , we usually pick up some fresh fish and have them fry it for us . And if you stop by on a Tuesday , you can grab a buy one get one free halo halo and other great meal deals !

Last 10/14/25 more or less 2:57 p.m. we were eager to get foods at restaurant for our lunch. I asked the lady at the counter, is it buy one take one today (Tuesday)?, since last Wednesday we asked the lady and was told that buy one take should be on Tuesday. Without looking at me in arrogant voice she said "HINDI" then walked away as if I am not existed talking to her. My wife noticed that arrogant voice, confronted her and told her, that last Wednesday we were told that buy one take one should be on Tuesday. Then looking at us that we are both seniors 81 years old and 77 years old, her voice calm down and explained to us that look at that signs in the counter. The damaged has been done since we don't expect that as a senior citizens we will be treated roughly, no manners, arrogant voice, not acceptable as a front line employee. We will never come back to this outlet (Island Pacific Supermarket- Rose Ave. Branch in Oxnard). This is our sad experience and can be disseminated to our relatives and friends. I trust that management will be aware of some bad behaviors of their employees. Thank you.

The Raw Oysters we purchased were from Baja California $1.39 each. They were big and tasted good once we prepared them. We were a bit skeptical because we ran into someone at the store next door who told us they got sick after eating oysters from here. Always ask the employees when they arrived and where the product came from. This market carries produce,raw seafood, meat, lots of imported goods, seasonings, noodles and even sells cooked food to go. The only bad thing about shopping here is that it smells like fish as soon as you walk into the store. Some customers may not find that very pleasant.

Stopped here while visiting the area to check it out and to get dinner. It's organized and I was able to find the grocery items I typically get on a regular basis. It's clean and the check-out line wasn't long. The staff is friendly. PhilHouse is located inside, which serves a wide selection of pre-made dishes. There is a dining area with tables and chairs if you want to stay and eat. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

5 star because of accesibilty, i got everthing I needed and some extra impulse items. The place is clean and organize, lots of parking spaces (free parking) i like that they also have a karinderia on the side. A spot if you want to send balikbayan box. Their seafood option is good to, they also clean fish for you. This is where you can also find pork with skin on. Wide selection of pilipino snack too. I found balut too. If you ate craving for some pilipino food this will hit the spot.

Island Pacific has become my go-to for Filipino groceries. The fish counter is excellent, and the folks there are always helpful especially if you ask for Aaron in the seafood department. He knows his stuff and gives good recommendations.
