Joong-Ang Oriental Groceries

Fantastic service. I have been trying to expand my food palatte and I got a recipe for Ajitsuke eggs. Couldn't find all the ingredients at normal grocery stores but Joong-Ang had everything I needed. Also the Lao Gan Ma was much cheaper here than Hy-Vee, so I got the large container. The man who helped me offered suggestions and I ended up grabbing a bottle of Capsaicin to add to my mix. Very reasonable prices, very helpful service, all done with a smile. I will ONLY be shopping here for my Korean ingredients from now on.

We found a good variety of foods there. There's a goid choice of Korean corn dogs, with fish sausage.Multiple drinks to choose from. Pastas,snack, frozen foods& more. It was a neat little store. I am excited to go back & look again. Workers were nice

Hate to say it but the owner of this establishment is 100% racist. I’ve had bad experiences with this owner in the past but the last one takes the cake. I went in about 2 weeks ago to pick up a few items. When being rang up he scanned my items... Oyster sauce, rice noodles and "bok choy"? Funny thing is I was purchasing napa cabbage. Napa cabbage was on special this day which is why I chose it. The owner purposely scanned the wrong item on his produce sheet to overcharge me for this item. I guess he assumed that because I was a young black woman, I didn’t know the difference between napa cabbage and boy choy. When I questioned him he was rude and upset about being caught. Please do not support this business. Go elsewhere if you care about integrity.

Korean and Japanese grocery store. Extremely clean well organized. Excellent customer service. Welcoming and cozy store. We found our favorite kimchi. This stores carries from small glass jars to like jug size.

Amazing small and local mom and pop shop. I always feel extremely welcomed when I go. If I have questions or can't find an item they are always friendly and willing to help.

Great store! My husband loves getting stocked up on all of his favorites. We usually bring a cooler since we are not from Overland Park and do not have these options in our hometown.

Everything I needed was available, and the owner was very kind. The vegetables were fresh too! 🙂
