Buying Gulab Jamun from Indian markets feels like a complete waste of money and almost a scam. The product rarely matches the description provided. The quality is often disappointing—either the sweets are stale, or lack the authentic taste you expect. Packaging can be misleading, showing vibrant, fresh-looking sweets, but what you get inside is far from that. For the price you pay, the experience does not justify the cost. If you’re looking for genuine, fresh Gulab Jamun, it’s better to buy from a trusted local sweet shop or make them at home.

The grocery collection is huge. It is a global set of food items as well. We saw Lebanese things, carob based cookies, Pakistani cookies etc. I had to come home and look up some of the things, so I can get next time. The back section has a cafe with Tandoori Chicken, Sheesh Kebab, Mango Lassi etc. The person at the food counter was very helpful! Update: Feb '26 Again, a good collection of vegetables. Wide varity. For example, I got the young raw mangoes, which are not easy to find. Labneh, Aryan yogurt drinks etc. Global collection!

Great selection of fresh produce and hard to find tropical fruits. They have a halal meats section in the back with large selection. You can also ask for a custom cut. The place is huge. They have a wide variety of frozen products with a very large sections of cooler. Great prices on the fresh produce as well. The quality of the produce is very fresh. It rotates well.

We had dumpling party and we bought dumpling wrappers but we didn’t realize the color it was dark than usual but we didn’t paid much attention as it still had date till March. Now everyone’s having a stomach cramp. This store is becoming more and more outrageous with the prices, quality of product and the rude customer service.

Best ethnic market in CT. You can get whatever you need here. Best to come early to get freshest of produce.

All kind of fresh Indian fruits and vegetables are there. Great collection of frozens. Freshly prepared puff, samosa and other evening snacks are there. You can find utensils as well. Staff is friendly. Restroom are there but that clean.

I love going to this market, it's always fresh and the samosas are super flavorful and the staff are eager to serve! My only constructive criticism is that I would suggest they fry the samosa's to order, instead of just heating it up. Great place to grab exotic and hard to find items!
