love the chicken shawarma but it's price over my budget $15 sorry no more chicken shawarma for me too pricy.

Staff is very friendly but don't speak enough English to answer simple questions like "do you have diet soda?" They have a guy at the desk who you have to order from. His English wasn't much either. O suggest that you go to the counter and look at the offers. There are a few and they look good. The $5 beef rib didn't have much meat on it, and it was a bit burned. The $10 whole chicken looked like a better deal. Great spices! I would go back and try again. They had good plates.

Love this place! Location; not so much.🤷🏾‍♀️ However the people are nice and the food is delicious. I had a Lamb mendi plate and when I say it was just what I needed. Flavor packed. Who knew yogurt salad, coupled with rice and lamb could taste so good together. What a symphony. Don't knock it till you try it. Another one of my favorite places!😎

Much more than a market, a delightful cafe. Vegetarian, and meat choices available. Safe, extraordinarily clean, organized, tastefully decorated, and free parking not too difficult to find. Right in front of Sutter Hospital. Additional outside covered seating available. They make pita bread while you watch. Though they don't sell fresh breakfast cheeses, they do have breakfast cheese available in their grocery. The most unique and delicious vegetable samosa I have ever had, and I've eaten many over these many decades. The staff is super polite, helpful, and inspire happiness. Honest staff, I saw them find keys and actively try to find who left them. Made me want to visit Yemen, which I inferred from the Yemen license plate on the wall. Pretty good food. Big portions. Nice people. Good hummus. Market attached to the restaurant has some good deals.

I wasn’t a fan of the chicken. $10 for a whole chicken seemed like a good deal. Also, the $5 ribs is actually the price per rib bone. Felt mislead by the sign and it barely had any meat so it wasn’t really worth it. They also pulled it out of a box and got the old meat they had instead of the fresh meat that was roasting outside. I was def let down. ☹️

I ordered the lam shawarma plate. All of it was flavorless. The lamb tasted like it had gone bad. I ended up throwing away most of it. And the service was off, too. When I walked up to place my order with the man at the register, another man walked up to him and they started talking in Arabic and laughing. I waited as they did this. Then the guy at the register took his time hanging up some bags. Service was abrupt and unfriendly. I wish that I had read the reviews before I arrived. The whole vibe felt bad….like they don’t like black people. Never again.
