J & J Asian Mart Inc. (동양식품)

Great place to shop Asian food! But I’m not Asian tho, I just like trying new things and I’m into some Korean foods lately, the only bad thing was handicapped access was not near at all. Store looks and feels clean, nice Christian station music playing, food and utensils selections were good. I wish I took more pictures, maybe next time. But is not their fault. The building isn’t build properly I guess. I couldn’t find a ramp at all. I went down to a far corner to find out it was not even a ramp but it was somewhat closer to the floor enough for my scooter to get in .

Authentic Korean grocery store frequented by the local Asian community, but also a friendly and non-intimidating store for folks who want to try out some new and interesting foods and flavors. If you know nothing about Korean food, but you’re curious and adventurous, just drop in, say hi, and start asking questions. You be glad you did!

I love this little Asian store. It's predominantly Korean, but there are many other authentic Asian items such as Japanese ramen, ramen bowls, a variety of teas, chopsticks, Asian candies and more. I came here looking for Maxim Mocha coffee sticks and left with so much more. It's my favorite store now.

Loved this store it's small and quaint not a typical Asian grocery but if you need something really quick this is the place to go. Also the lady that rang me up was very nice and had wonderful suggestions that I will be trying.

This store is amazing. So many interesting things. I got the veggie pancakes from the freezer section and some soda. Can't wait to try them.

I prefer to give my business to smaller, locally owned shops. This one is close to my son, so when I visit him in Westlake, I always stop by. Huge assortment of ramen including Buldak, my favorite. I didn't have time to go through the whole store yesterday, but pretty sure they had everything that I would need to cook Korean and other Asian food at decent prices. The only irritation is missing prices on some items.

Lovely place! Well stocked and very organized with a great variety of Asian groceries. The produce is fresh and they have impressive jars of homemade kimchi that I plan to try in the future. They even had several different gluten-free Tamari offerings that I had not seen before, such as a Szechuan blend and Thai Peanut sauce. To the staff: all the best and God bless!
