Bombay Bazar Indian Grocery Store

I love the "Thali" it's only served at lunchtime until 2:30. It usually consists of a seasonal vegetable or non- vegetarian meal. I chose the non-vegetarian thali that contained: chicken curry,chicken tika masala, tandoori chicken, basmati rice,buttered naan bread,a crunchy fried onion fritter called a "pakara" with a delicious tamarind dipping sauce and a sweet syrupy donut,comes with chutneys as well. It's a great way to try some of there most popular dishes at their lunch price of $14.99. I ate everything so fast that I forgot to take a picture lol, oh well,next time.

It's been over 30 years since I've had authentic Indian food, that's Indian from India! The Indians cook most of the food with curry and depending on the severity of hotness is dependent upon how much career you ask for. In my book if it doesn't make your eyes water and make you sweat it ain't hot enough. I had the braised curry goat medium hotness, with Naat garlic bread, and white rice I also had Indian hot tea. Which is hot tea with creamed milk.

Great food every time. Perfection. The service is always excellent. We go once a week.

A lot of nostalgia eating this food reminded me of my hostel days. Been in the US so many years and having eaten chat from different restaurants. I haven’t eaten something so depressing, lacked flavor, intent and care. Just a soggy mess. The tea was just repulsive, wasn’t even fresh it was just microwaved. The samosa tasted better but not anywhere close to great. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly service in both the grocery store and the restaurant. Restaurant food is always delicious, with portions large enough for a meal the next day. Large selection of products in the grocery section. I always find an unexpected treasure or two.

BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IVE HAD AND ONION STUFFED NANN. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM. SUPER CLEAN AND VERY ATTENTIVE WAIT STAFF. GIVE IT A CHANCE. PORTIONS ARE MORE THAN YOU EXPECT. THE STORE IS COOL AS WELL SO MANY ITEMS YOUD NEVER FIND.

Tried this place for the first time and I’m positive I will not go anywhere else! Wait time was long but worth every minute. I ordered the goat curry and it was delicious. Not really sure how authentic Indian food taste but this was hands down delicious. New spot for me. Sorry didn’t take any photos but will next visit
