Another store with good fresh meats. I have over 9,000 views from visiting grocery stores and some other places. If you're living in the 757...the Best meat stores are going to be #1 The Fresh Market #2 Central Meats, #3 Harris Teeter/ Kroger, #4 International Market Newtown Rd. That's it...if you buy your meats from anywhere else. Drag your Dr along, cause you gone need em.

I love Harris teeter.. the customer service is amazing. They have great self-checkout run scans p the crowd of people that shot their store is a good group. There are brands of food are always good Don't be afraid to try something new.... Happy shopping The atmosphere was peaceful clean the bathrooms were fully stocked the prices are good depends on the brands you get. Horrible customer service by your cashier named Lets. The one item that I was purchasing was on sale but was not ringing up the correct price. So instead of calling the manager to address the problem what does Lets do? She terminates my transaction and tells me to go get in line at the customer service desk. I have already waited in line at the checkout now I have to go get in line again behind two other people at the service desk. Very rude and totally unacceptable. The only reason I came to this location is because my local Harris Teeter did not have the sale item in stock and I can guarantee that I will never again shop at the Colonial Ave location due to this very rude cashier that you have working for you there. The manager at the customer service desk did resolve the issue and even gave me a discount so thumbs up to her.

The staff here is courteous and kind. I'm still learning the floor plan. Everyone is nice when I ask for directions. The seafood staff are knowledgeable. I've never had security in a grocery store so that was different... good but different. There's an average selection for Asian and Hispanic/Latin foods. Spices are more "bland" than I'm used to (from where I came from). Not great, not bad, just different; for the area I'm sure it's great. The store itself is well kept but the eat in area could use a little TLC.( It might be the time when I get there just after the messy person leaves too). Shy and Jupiter are great cashiers - personable, welcoming, etc. overall is good.

Omg the Ms lady in the cake department professional precise and just friendly and attentive! And the service was quick! Like im getting her to make my bakery items from now on she is phenomenal in the bakery! Wish I knew her name!!

Nice store but the bathrooms are disgusting. There are 3 stalls in the women’s room and two of them have shit all over the toilet. I know that the employees must have seen this shit.. literally. My guess is whoever used this toilet came from "Yukai Japanese & Seafood Buffet" I wouldn’t recommend going there either.

Great Harris Teeter! This a unique Harris Teeter with a two story interior. It boasts an elevator and multiple stair cases to access the second floor. This location is always well organized, clean, and has friendly employees.
