H-E-B plus!

One of the nicest HEB stores in Texas, and one of the best food stores throughout the country. I wish there were other HEBs in the rest of the states. Found what I enjoy best for the road trip; my soops and breakfast cakes. This is the only HEB where I see half pies for sale, a little other nice things that are not available at other HEBs. BBQ place outside with a nice picnic covered area with fans. @memerios1020

I normally don’t complain but I feel like I have to here. We bought this from this heb location and this is what showed up a couple days later. After researching I find out that this is moth/eggs/poop/webbing from them that were already living inside the box for a long time. We had to throw away everything in our pantry because we found evidence it was spreading. I called customer service at the location and they were only willing to refund me for the two boxes… All I asked for was some sort of compensation for items we had to throw away. Even if it was a $50 heb gift card to help replenish basic pantry items so we could start again. After pleading my case, the manager said I would have to bring in all the contaminated food and they would only replace that. I don’t feel that it’s safe and something I should do lugging all of that food along. This situation could have been simply solved. I always have loved heb but it’s things like this that make me think differently. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, especially with groceries being the price they are. And I’m sure someone will respond with a customer service number to call and will have to go through hoops and ladders for a simple solution.

My HEB has EVERYTHING - that I need anyway. I frequently use the curbside feature, just shop at home in my easy chair and then drive to HEB where my groceries and essentials are loaded safely and neatly in my car! No fuss, no bother, no walking up and down aisles looking for items. I love HEB convenience and having the freshest produce, meats, canned goods and sundries easily available to enjoy!

This place is great overall, and I usually have a good experience here. However, customer service really needs improvement. Today I had Sarah as the cashier along with two other employees, and none of them greeted us or acknowledged us at all. There was no hello or basic interaction, which made us feel ignored. On top of that, items were handled roughly. Bread and fruit were being thrown, and all three fruits were forced into one bag. When I got home, the fruit was bruised. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service and item handling moving forward, because the store itself is great.

I ordered what was shown in the first picture with a vase and the second picture is what I got. I asked for a ribbon on the vase and I didn’t receive that. I paid over $40 and didn’t get what I expected. Very disappointed. This was a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law and it wasn’t what I expected. I would say ordering over the phone is risky. ☹️

I have never encountered such a consistently helpful and courteous team as I have at this store. The employees excel in every department and truly make a meaningful difference in the overall shopping experience. I am genuinely grateful to shop here.

My wife loves the Edwards brand pecan pie, and I have to admit it is a delicious pie! The only place we have been able to find them in New Braunfels, Texas is at the H-E-B at 2965 I-35 N. Frontage Rd, . Today I made a special trip to that H-E-B to pick up a few of those pies for the Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately, when I got to the freezer section that normally contains them, there were none to be found. I looked it up on their app, and it told me that they were on aisle 10, but they weren't there. I happened to pass by an H-E-B employee that was stocking one of the end-cap freezers. His name is Corbin. I asked him if they planned on getting more of those particular pies in, before the holidays. He said that they just took some to the back, and that he would go get me some. I was so very happy. I know it may seem like a small thing, someone just doing their job. And why get excited about finding a pie anyway? The world wasn't going to come to an end if I didn't get the pies. That's not the point. The point is, Corbin's attitude and demeaner were great. He didn't act upset that I had stop him from what he was doing, sending him to the back of the store to retrieve me some pies. He was very cheerful about helping me out. I just want to say, good job H-E-B for employing people with great attitudes, who desire to serve and take care of your customers. And, great job Corbin. You are a great example for all people! I pray the Lord's blessing be upon you and your store. I will continue to be a big fan and customer of H-E-B. And if you want to shop at a store where you can find what you're looking for, and where the employees truly care about you, then you too should make H-E-B your store of choice for all your grocery needs.
