Metta Market

The perfect little market in downtown New Bedford to grab some carry-out lunch, snacks and groceries. A++ products and makers. There is good focus on local producers and farms. Definitely give it a visit when you find yourself in downtown!

I read about this shop in SouthCoast today and had to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. They have a great selection of specialty items you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere, some staple items like fruits, dairy, cereals, even some vegetarian and vegan frozen options I've not seen in other stores. I will absolutely be back.

This market is truly special. I visit every few weeks and always leave with the best organic goodies!!! There are speciality food items for cooking as well as various snacks, ice creams, drinks, fruits and desserts. They even have takeout food options sometimes! Follow their instagram for more 🙂 10/10
