Sonobana Japanese Market

This is a tiny little market that doesn't offer much. But it's a very rare Japanese grocery store in Nashville and hence serves its place. They carry difficult-to-find Japanese goods, imported Japanese drinks, and a few Chinese products as well. But the best part about this market is that it's the only place I've seen in town that carries sushi-grade fish! So for those making homemade sushi, this is your go-to spot.

Great store! Clerk was super helpful, got everything from my list within seconds! Super accommodating, on account of my knee injury. Great prices! Will visit again real soon!

Yall, its really good, they have pictures of the employees on certain products and one of the employees is tapped on their register and it's very cute, would recommend!

Great little Japanese grocery store. Not lots of produce, but lots of packaged, frozen, and fresh fish available.

What a wonderful little shop! Having recently returned from Japan to visit family, we were craving some of the items we enjoyed while in Japan. As soon as we walked in, the quiet, Jazz infused sounds, and cleanliness of Japan washed over us! Treasures! We found the azuki bean covered mochi balls we enjoyed! Inari skins. Barley tea. Onigiri! For a moment, we felt swept away! The humans running the shop had wonderful energy and their recommendation photos filled the place. What joy! Thank you for such a lovely space!

If you are looking for the basics it’s an okay little shop. But I’ve seen far and away better Japanese markets than this
