Absolutely wonderful experience and a great selection of product! From fresh items to frozen squid! 🦑 Jerk seasoning to Balduk ramen. And if you can’t find it here? Just ask! The lady at the counter was phenomenal and so kind. even brought us a basket when she saw us just carrying stuff. it is a bit small and the aisles are close together. So if multiple people walk down and aisle, it can feel a bit cramped.

Was welcomed warmly when I entered. Lots of interesting foods to buy. Didn't seem to be overly priced. Looks like a little bit of everything in there. I bought a few bags of dried beans that I hadn't heard of before. I asked AI how to make them in my 1.5 liter Indian pressure cooker, and they turned out fantastic and very delicious. If you're unsure of entering ethnic markets because you're not sure if they speak English, don't let that prevent you from going in. Every ethnic market I've ever been to has been very inviting, and they all speak English 😃. If you don't know how to prepare what you've never heard of before, just ask AI or Google. You won't be disappointed. Venture out and enjoy yourself! You won't be sorry 🌞 just try it!

So happy for this place. It has everything needed for Indian cooking and the owners are so warm. They started a WhatsApp group and now you know when fresh produce is available 🙂

It’s so great having an international market in Mt. Pleasant! There’s a great variety of items from different regions, the shop is organized and clean, and the owner is really friendly. I’m excited that I can get some international groceries close to home now. The prices are also very fair and a lot of the items are priced better than chain grocery stores. This is a great shop to have around, and I recommend shopping here. 🙂 Definitely show Central International Market some support!

Excellent selection of items and owner said if anything is missing to let her know and she can try to source it. Excited to see some products from home here and have access to some hard to get items in the grocery stores. Great store!
