I shop here for Chinese herbs whenever I’m in CA. They might’ve done something to pissed off the employees or they just simply don’t care. I’m amazed with their confident on job security and their willingness to show attitude to the shoppers. The look, body language and expression on their face make me feel that I did something wrong. Anything they have to offer are easily available anywhere else. Remember, It’s CA, not Iowa or Wyoming.

This is the New T S Emporium, which is bigger than the old one that is only three blocks or so away. It carries a good collection of Chinese herbal medicine. Also sells a large variety of Chinese grocery. It is often packed because the display racks are put close to each others. Prices are competitive but there are only two main cashiers so it takes time to pay. Good place for quick convenient grocery shopping
