The worst cake I’ve ever eaten. We ordered a taro pudding cake and a matcha one. The cream on top of both cakes was stale and had hardened. The pudding tasted like cheese. The matcha one was even worse—my boyfriend took one bite and threw it away.

This is one of the good business in Monterey Park with good Asian foods. Unfortunately, they no longer provide wi-fi access so a lot of guests no longer come here to work on the 3 coffee tables that are available and just kind of grab their breads and go. This is not a good spot for that if you are interested in finding a place to grab a drink and talk for a long time or do some work but it is a good place to grab one or two, $3 item and then leave. I enjoy coming here for the Buy One, Get One Free Matcha Latte promotion drinks. It is a good deal to be able to two large drinks for the price of one, which is around $6. I recommend always waiting for the promotions, since they always do them, when visiting instead of paying full-price. The new Heytea just opened as well so there is another option for boba drinks and there are lots of Boba drinks down the entire street. There is also the best boba drink(s) and brands that are in the El Monte parts of the San Gabriel Valley like 7Leaves, Boba Time, ShareTea, MeowTea, Ono Tea House, Mira, which is very nearby and just a short drive down the community.

This bakery has seats for dine-in, so you can enjoy it leisurely after buying bread and drinks. The price of the bread is considered mid-range, and there are many varieties. The taste is normal but not outstanding. If you just want to taste a light snack, it is also a good choice. In addition, cakes and pastries are also served here. Although I have never tried them, the cakes are quite beautiful in appearance and have a certain appeal.

I finally got this place’s too go too go. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. It came with a loaf of their white bread, a chocolate concha, matcha red bean cream cheese bagel, blueberry cream cheese bagel, chocolate bagel, everything cream cheese bagel, and a coconut raisin bread. The white bread was light and had a nice milk bread flavor. The concha was filled with sweet chocolate, had a crumbly top, but was a bit dry. The bagels weren’t really bagels. They were pretty much normal bread bread. They did have very good flavor tho. Like the blueberry one actually had a berry flavor and the matcha one had an earthy fragrance to it. The coconut raisin bread was soft and had good coconuty flave with lots of toasted coconut for texture.

Taiwanese bakery similar to 85c bakery. I went in the afternoon on a weekday and place was pretty empty. Everything was pretty good but the thin cookies in the plastic containers are extremely delicious. Easy to park around the plaza.

Love this place!!! Their pastries are actually not too sweet and just right. I love getting their strawberry cream cake and the salted cream milk tea/black tea/green tea. All the other pastries are also very delicious. Highly recommend a visit!!!
