Samar International Food Market

We stopped by this place when we saw it coming out of the Mustard Seed restaurant. it's a real gem of a place and I really wish we had had more time to look at everything. I always find it interesting to see how other people and cultures live and what kinds of foods and snacks they enjoy. this had a lot more than Asian food and had a number of things that our kids really liked.

I bought this Yopokki that doesn’t have the price tag, after receiving my receipt I saw the price was $7.99. I was blown away after seeing the price. Later I found the Same product at world market, was $3.49. I’m not going to buy again , specially if there is no price tag do not buy it.

We explored Samar today, what a fun store! The owner is wonderful and helped us find what we needed and offered to order what he did not have.

Always has delicious ingredients and food you can’t find anywhere else in town. The service is always so welcoming and friendly, and always willing to answer questions and let you know when product will return.

So happy I found this store, where I picked up some Filipino food. Staff was so friendly. Will be coming back for sure!

Variety & Friendly help Whether you are looking for hard to find ingredients for an Asian dish, or a quick snack or drink, you'll find a ton of options here. The owner is awesome and makes everyone feel like family. He'll order & pick up anything you need to make your comfort food from Thailand, Philippines, wherever. I like making dishes I used to get at restaurants in Seattle. They are just south of the mall, real easy to find & park at. If you aren't sure of whether you want any particular item, just ask and you'll get a nice concise answer to whether it's something you would like (or need for a recipe).

Great little small business. Small store packed full of great products.
