Very clean and well stocked. Nice cheese and charcuterie offerings. Large wine selection and well organized. Parking lot is usually busy, lots of great options for dining and coffee. Employees are easy to find and happy to help. Great service.

This morning, on our way to my nephew’s birthday, we stopped by the local Pavilions to grab Starbucks and a candle for his cake. I had never been to a Pavilions before, but I’m glad we decided to stop — what a great first impression. While waiting for my fiancé to grab the candle, I noticed their beautiful premium liquor display. The setup was stunning, so I walked over for a closer look. That’s where I met Ana Holdings, who was closing the cabinet. I joked with her that they were missing the best tequila. She asked which one, and I told her: Fortaleza. She playfully replied, "No we don’t," and I told her I didn’t see it. We ended up having a short but great conversation about tequila and spirits — something I’m very familiar with. I asked her again about Fortaleza, and she told me to wait for a moment. Sure enough, she came back holding a Fortaleza Blanco bottle — the last one in the entire store. The smile that put on my face was real. Anyone who knows tequila understands how special these bottles are: the craftsmanship, the flavor, the process, the rarity. I remember when they were $25, and now they’re hard to find anywhere because of the demand. Finding one feels like a treasure hunt, and today I got lucky. To make it even better, I got an amazing price on this bottle — lower than anything I’ve seen online or in other stores. That alone would’ve made my day, but the service took it to another level. I’m turning 40 next month, and I can’t wait to open this bottle with friends and family. But what made this moment even better was Ana herself. Her friendliness, her knowledge, and her willingness to go above and beyond turned a simple grocery stop into a memorable experience. She didn’t just provide great customer service — she delivered five‑star service. She also took the time to tell us about everything Pavilions offers, including their weekly whiskey and wine tastings. Being in the service industry myself, I know how much small interactions can impact someone’s day. Ana gets it. She’s a true professional, and it’s clear why she’s the store manager. The store looked great, the staff seemed happy, and the overall atmosphere reflected strong leadership. Ana, I hope you receive recognition for this. Your corporate team should know they have an exceptional manager representing their brand. Thank you for making my first visit to Pavilions a memorable one.

I normally never leave reviews, but after what happened to me today, I feel like I have no choice. The service at this pharmacy was disgustingly awful, and I left feeling completely disrespected. I came in to request a refill for a medication. One of the staff members asked for the container, gave it back after a minute without saying a word, and just walked away. When I asked her some questions about the medication, she told me she didn’t know and that I would need to ask the pharmacist. So she called the pharmacist and asked her about precautions and things I should avoid while taking it. After that, the same staff member looked at me and said, "Why are you still here?" I explained I was waiting for my refill, and only then was I told I would need to wait 30 minutes. I told them that next time it would be better to tell customers upfront about the wait instead of saying nothing. Instead of responding with any courtesy, one of the pharmacists aggressively told me, "Can you just go," as if I wasn’t even a customer. The way I was treated was rude, unprofessional, and honestly humiliating. You never know what someone might be going through, and that’s exactly why people working in the medical field should show patience, kindness, and understanding to everyone. If anyone from Pavilions is reading this, please make sure your pharmacy technicians and pharmacists learn how to treat customers with respect and compassion. What a shame for a store to allow behavior like this.

Cashiers are friendly and helpful. I could find most is everything I looked for. The only negative is prices are higher.

We called this location ahead of time to check stock on an item. The staff at this location told us they had plenty on the shelf but when we got there minutes later, the shelf was empty. One employee told us they have been out of that item for several weeks! Always out of products at the Laguna Niguel and Mission Viejo locations- Tillamook Cream Cheese Very Veggie, deli tortilla chips, sweet potato, Old Trapper Beef Jerky Teriyaki, organic ground turkey, to name only a few. With FreshPass, an item is usually missing, damaged, expired, or nearly expired with each order. We contacted customer service weeks ago (via phone and email) to address these issues but no one has returned our call. What's going on? We have been shopping at Pavilions for our family of 8 for over 20 years. Lately, we've switched to Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Sprouts, or Ralphs for our grocery needs. UPDATE: we ordered Tempeh and tortilla chips yesterday. We were given Tempeh that expired LAST MONTH and tortilla chips that contain MSG and artificial food dyes yellow 5 and 6!! My kids are highly allergic to MSG, so I always check the food labels. I contacted Pavilions customer service AGAIN and were assured someone would call us back.
