BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!! This store is selling unsafe, expired food at high prices and clearly does not care about customer safety. After eating sausages bought here, I got sick. I brushed it off at the time, but looking back, it was a serious warning sign that something was wrong with their food handling. We bought lots of products because we were excited to find African food items, but what we found instead was spoiled and tampered food. WE SPENT MORE THAN $500 IN THIS STORE!!! I opened a hot and sweet sauce and found visible mold inside the bottle. When I tried to check the expiration date, it had been wiped off completely. That alone should never happen with food being sold to the public. Today, I opened a sour porridge flour and immediately noticed a sticker placed over the packaging. Having purchased this product before, I knew the expiry date is normally printed directly on the package. When I checked the inside of where the sticker was placed, I discovered the original expiration date had been covered and replaced with a new date set one year later. IT HAD ALREADY EXPIRED!!! BEFORE WE PURCHASED THE PRODUCT!!! This is not a mistake. This is dangerous and dishonest. Covering or altering expiration dates and selling spoiled food puts people at serious risk, especially while charging premium prices. I have posted photos as proof. These evil people should be SUED!! and the place should be SHUT DOWN!! Do not buy food from here!!

Becareful coming here! It is a very small grocery store that sells majority Asian items and some African items. The prices here are so ridiculous! They have two different prices when you pay at the register, a credit price (pay with card) and a cash price (pay with cash), about $1.50 extra PER ITEM! The receipt does not show any Tax amount, which food items always get tax in MN. This is fraud on their end! Secondly items in the store, majority do not have an expiration date, therefore you must look at everything throughly! Their grocery selection, majority are old and already getting bad. This store is a go to ONLY when you cannot go to other stores or if other stores are close, but if you must, then STAY AWAY from this store!!!

Today after work I drove to this store with my Hubby and we got there by 9:20AM and waited outside because the store opens at 10AM.The gentleman arrived and opened the door few minutes to 10AM. The store was very clean, no smell , very organized and I had few questions for the gentleman who was friendly answering us. We got all we needed. I got all I wanted and pocket friendly. I will continue recommending this place to my friends who wants to get cultural foods.

Laab is still being advertised on the window for sale. when I walked in I was told the didn’t have any prepared. The store seems dirtier than I remember and the store associate was not at all friendly. I will not be going back. So I received your reply saying you are sorry and to see your online menu. Am a supposed to be happy that I drove 25 minutes from East Bethel to your business to find out you no longer have the item available I wanted to purchase. I’m pretty sure by having lash, eggrolls, papaya salad and other Asian dishes advertised on your windows is false advertisement. Your store is dirty and hospitality is awful. I’m sad the former owners left this business. I’m sure you will be out of business soon. Bad reviews are all I see in the past year.

Best West African food! The store a bit rough looking but the food is delicious. It’s expensive but good

They have the best plantains and cassava . Always come here when I need those. Cashier guy is so friendly. I'm glad this store is around where I live.

I love this store! They make really good sticky rice dipping sauces like the hot pot and the fish sauce with chilies and fresh herbs by request!Also, we love the egg rolls, homemade fried pork belly, and more! Such a sweet lady!
