My visit to the Walmart on Milpitas in California was a largely positive experience that truly highlights the store's practical strengths. The first thing I noticed was the incredibly spacious parking lot, making access easy and stress-free even during a busy day. Inside, the staff members were a standout feature; they were consistently friendly and helpful, which always makes a shopping trip more pleasant. I was also impressed by the great value on many food items, offering solid choices for anyone on a budget. However, I did notice two consistent challenges. The first was the surprising lack of a coffee section, a notable omission for such a large store. The second was that essential daily consumer goods often seemed to be out of stock by the afternoon, which can be inconvenient. Despite these drawbacks, the store's core strengths are undeniable. It provides a friendly atmosphere and fantastic prices on many items. With just a few improvements—mainly, adding a coffee aisle and better stock management for high-demand products—this location would be absolutely perfect. It remains a solid choice for affordable groceries and general goods.

This Walmart removed almost all of its self checkout lanes. Apparently nobody informed them that they needed to hire cashiers to run the checkout lanes. They now only have 6 self checkout spots and only had 2 cashiers working. Lines were about 10 people deep. Terrible way to run a business. They only get a second star because Walmart does have good prices. They need to remember how important the service part is.

I must commend two outstanding employees at the Auto Care Center in the Walmart Supercenter 2119: Andrew and Alberto. On September 26th, I ran into a stressful problem—my tire had a nail stuck in it and was slowly leaking air. I was very worried, but Andrew immediately approached me, handled the situation calmly, and quickly got my car checked in for service. His reassuring manner made a big difference. During the repair, Alberto took over and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. He quickly located the puncture and expertly assessed the damage. He clearly explained my options (whether it could be patched or if it needed replacing) without any aggressive upselling. Alberto didn't just do the bare minimum; after replacing the tire, he took the extra time to carefully check the pressure on my other tires to ensure I was safe to drive. While Andrew provided the excellent initial customer service, Alberto performed all the technical work flawlessly. Without their combined help, my day would have been much worse. Thank you so much, Andrew and Alberto! You are true assets to this Walmart store!

I love this Walmart. Great customer service and great options for all your grocery and dietary needs! They are super fast and efficient and hard working I honestly wish other Walmarts were like this one here on ranch drive! Keep up the amazing work!

This Walmart location used to be excellent and i used their pickup service on a weekly basis for several years. Over the last year the quality of this service has significantly deteriorated. Wait times are extremely long (40 minutes or more). In fact just today i had an early morning (7-8 am on a Sunday) pickup for which i had to wait more than 30 min. On top of that items are out of stock and this notification is received just 30 min or so before pickup. Overall the convenience factor of this service is completely gone. It makes more sense to go into a store where you know all items will be available and just pick them up. Grocery items can be obtained for much lower prices at local stores which dot the bay area. And with regard to other items Amazon has the exact same things for the same or better price and will deliver to your home at no additional cost. I am sure i am not the first one, but Walmart just lost another customer.

Walmart’s returns counter feels intentionally understaffed to create a huge line. We came three times, saw the queue, and had to leave each time. Gave up and never returned the item.
