The new Whole Foods in Edgewater, which celebrated its grand opening on June 26th, 2025, is an absolute game-changer for the neighborhood. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed – and the 2 hours of free parking is a fantastic perk right off the bat! The location is truly excellent, and the store itself is a marvel. I was particularly delighted by the thoughtful layout: the main Whole Foods market is on the ground floor, brimming with an incredible selection. But what truly sets this store apart is the spacious and inviting dining area on the second floor, complete with comfortable tables and sofas – perfect for enjoying a meal or just relaxing. I was genuinely impressed by the sheer size and the consistently high quality of all the products. It's clear that Whole Foods Edgewater is committed to supporting local producers, which is wonderful to see. Their extensive range of gluten-free, organic, and vegan products is also outstanding, catering to every dietary need with ease. Beyond the impressive selection, the staff here are truly the heart of the store. Every professional I encountered was super attentive and incredibly helpful. A special shout-out and huge thank you to Judy and Jesus for their exceptional service – they truly made my visit even better! I wholeheartedly recommend checking out this new Whole Foods location. It's definitely worth the visit, especially right now as they have so many products on sale, including some fantastic 20% off deals. Go explore and enjoy – you won't be disappointed!

I shop at this Whole Foods almost every single day because it’s right by my home, and I’ve always had a great experience—until today. This was my second time purchasing fish from this location that turned out to be spoiled. While that’s obviously frustrating, I do want to say that the gentleman working in the seafood department was extremely kind, understanding, and handled the situation professionally. He made it right immediately and treated me with respect, which I truly appreciated. When I went to customer service around 1 PM to return the spoiled fish and finish checking out my other items, I had an unfortunate interaction with an employee named Kim. I’ve seen her many times before and she’s always been pleasant, but today her attitude toward me was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. At one point she made a comment about how she had been there since 6 AM, which made me feel like her frustration was being taken out on me as a customer. There was another customer behind me, and I kindly offered for her to help him first while I waited, but she abruptly said "there’s no one behind you," even though there clearly was someone there asking about beer. The tone and way she spoke to me felt unnecessarily harsh and unkind. Thankfully, another employee stepped in to help me. I didn’t get her name, but she was absolutely amazing. She reassured me not to let the situation ruin my day and treated me with kindness and professionalism, which I really appreciated in that moment. I understand everyone can have an off day, but this interaction really stood out because it’s not the level of service I’ve ever experienced at this location. I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly wondering what I did to deserve that type of treatment. I will still continue shopping here because I love the store and most of the staff are wonderful—but I hope management addresses consistency in customer service, because kindness and professionalism really matter.

Brand new store but shelves empty. Product selection abysmal. Also a cell phone dead zone. SOS is all you’ll see on your phone inside. Can’t text. Can’t call. Can’t browse. Not off to a good start at all. 👎🏼

I visited this new Whole Foods on opening day. The parking lot was a bit chaotic—tight turns, uneven layout, and cars moving in all directions made navigating tricky. I even had to wait in line just to make a turn. Hopefully, this improves with time or better signage. Once inside, the aesthetics were impressive. The store is beautifully designed—bright, clean, symmetrical, and well-organized. Everything looked thoughtfully placed and visually appealing. At one point, I needed to use the restroom and asked an employee for help. She responded with a giggle and said, "That’s a good question," but didn’t make any effort to assist me further. She walked towards another employee and instead of asking, they began chatting and left me standing there. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The pastries and hot bar looked fresh and appetizing. The food displays overall were inviting. That said, I do have a few concerns. I noticed dogs inside the store, including near open food areas, which raises hygiene questions. More notably, when I passed by the meat department, the appearance of the butchers caught my attention. One had a long, scruffy beard left uncovered, and overall, they looked quite disheveled—like they may not have been freshly groomed for food service work. I expected more attention to hygiene and presentation, especially from a store like Whole Foods. Lastly, a quick note for budget-conscious shoppers: it’s worth checking prices. I noticed a face moisturizer here priced at $20.99 that I’ve previously purchased on Amazon for $14.29. Whole Foods often serves higher-end markets, so price differences like this may not be surprising—but they’re worth noting.

Always love whole foods; this particular location is pretty much always sold out of oysters though for the Friday deal and even through the weekend. Not really sure why as the Brickell location and Miami Shores locations don't have this problem. Staff is great though, very friendly and the produce is always excellent.

As one of the biggest companies in the world, I believe it makes sense for them to post the hours when the pick up service for Amazon won’t be available. They just put a sign that says will be back at 5pm. Customer service and other employees are nonchalant. The package drop off kiosk is full. It doesn’t matter if the package service is outsourced or not - it reflects on the experience of Amazon as a whole. I hope Amazon and store leadership revisit this and either publish lunch hours online, like Walgreens does - pretty simple OR better assign someone else while the dedicated person is on lunch break.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Amazing Experience Every Time I absolutely love shopping at my local Whole Foods. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with everything I need. The customer service is truly outstanding — every team member I interact with is friendly and always willing to help. I especially want to highlight Ninel, who is an absolute doll. She’s always eager to assist with anything I need, whether it’s helping me find a product or just sharing a simple, pleasant conversation. Her kindness and positive energy make every visit so much better. Whole Foods has easily become one of my favorite places to shop thanks to the amazing staff and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
