One of the freshest grocery stores in town. Amazing selection & affordable prices midtown is lucky to be home of this store!!! best citrus in town & fresh produce diverse selection always new and in season comparable to a farmers market. I miss the little food truck window that used to be in the back behind the produce back in the day! But I for sure appreciate everything they've done & all the work they've put into the place since. Keep it up guys Viet Hoa is here to stay 🙏 🔥 💯

I just left this store not too long ago, and while I have shopped here many times with no problems, today was different. An older Asian lady kept trailing me through the aisles in a way that felt a whole lot like racial profiling. At first I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe we were just looking at the same things. She did not have a cart, she did not have a basket, and she did not even have a pack of gum in her hand. It was just me on her radar. And honestly, what exactly did she think I was about to steal. My daughter comes here for snacks that she sees on TikTok and I come to find ingredients that I can't typically find in regular grocery stores . Most of the labels are in another language so half the time I am standing there pulling up Google images to make sure I am getting the right thing. I do not speak anything other than English so I really could not imagine what crime she thought I was plotting. I am not risking anything for lobster flavored chips, a live eel, one of those giant bullfrogs floating in the back, or a bag of Assi. Yes that is a real brand, but I don't want no Assi either. Even though I have always had good experiences here before, this one moment was enough to ruin it. Being followed around like that made me uncomfortable and I will not be returning. I am sharing this so others are aware.

The prices are really great and perfect value for your money, it's everything you can think of inside here and every noodle you can think of, live fish, frogs and others on hand. There were a lot of people inside the store, yet it was not crowded at so I also found plenty of items from tiktok if familiar with the platform, and it's cheaper with no wait on delivery if that's the case, I even seen ostrich eggs and more

Phenomenal. Was in heaven, and didn't understand a word written. Didn't even bother using AI to translate. Just got lost and got what I wanted. 10/10 Great place. Wish I knew how to cook more than just a few things and could really take advantage of everything. I've been loving the kimchi. Glad to have found some that actually take kitchen shears to chop up. Soo good!

I loved the plentiful selection of vegetables and dry goods. I came here specifically to get some mangosteen, after checking with another market that didn't have any today. I was surprised at the $12.99USD per pound price with each bag weighing around 2lbs, but I really wanted them. So I tried to pick out the best looking bag, but still ended up not being able to eat half of them because they were spoiled inside with brown spots and a fermented taste. We were impressed by the live seafood in the wet market area, but we're from the Gulf Coast and could tell some of the fish on ice shouldn't have even been offered for sale. There were some pretty fresh and hard to find meat off cuts, like pig hearts and beef feet.

Excellent place to get anything you may need! The selection of produce, herbs, and mushrooms is the best and the prices are very affordable. There is a large meat section in the back (some live animals) and the freezer/cold storage sections also have a ton of options.

They have a nice collection of mushrooms and Asian vegetables. I can’t comment on the other sections since I’m not familiar with those foods. But one of the cashiers was argumentative. They put advertisement to promote a product but they charge a normal price during checkout so if you’re not paying attention you’ll get robbed by them. Manager was useless also. Ended up not selling the product at the advertised price..
