Vege Market

Filipino owned (2nd Different owner) that offers a great selection of Asian products. Noodles, sauces, rice, frozen fish, you name it. Some selection of produce but more than most other smaller Asian markets in McAllen. However prices is a bit more here.

I went for Thai basil on my first visit to Vege Mart A tiny store that Carry's Asian products and hard to find veggies. If you live near by and are planning a stir fry or noodle dish this the place to go. Oh, yeah they carry the sticky rice if you like that. I noticed a food counter, I'll have to check into that, if so I'll try it and write a review.

Sorry cat got my tongue on this cause I'm not a vegetarian, the wife is, you would never catch me in a store like this but the wife and granddaughter love it.

The owner and her family always super nice and helpful. The price are really reasonable and affordable. If they dont have anything, you can ask and see if they can get it for you

The family owners are approachable and very kind to answers whatever u wanna asked particularly of the products they are selling... feels like a store back home .... luv it.... their smiles make your day n' the home made taho was so freshly delicious.... God bless your business and more power!!!
