I had an unpleasant experience at this store. I went in to order 10 kimbap rolls for my family and me. While I understand that larger orders may require advance notice, I was unaware that I needed to call an hour ahead. The old man at the counter scoffed at me and told me this quite rudely. A simple sign explaining this policy would have helped avoid confusion. The wait for the kimbap wasn’t long, which I appreciated. However, when I returned to pick them up, the same man claimed I hadn’t paid yet. I was surprised, as I had already purchased three other items under $10 and was charged over $20, which I assumed included the rolls. While I searched for my receipt, he took my card and charged me again. After checking the receipt, I realized I had been double-charged. The man’s attitude throughout the interaction was unpleasant, and the situation was handled poorly. It left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. I regret spending my money there, especially after being treated as an inconvenience. In contrast, I’ve always had positive experiences at Kim’s Market, which has friendly staff and great service. I’ll be going there from now on.

Stopped here on the way back to SF and their kimbap was so delicious!!! We got them fresh too. Great selection of Korean snacks and products too

Me and my family went there to buy some snacks and kimbap a few days ago and the young guy in the cashier was so rude! We will definitely not going back there again, ever!

Very rude staff. It’s unnecessary to treat customers as they treated my wife and I. Especially as locals, we had planned to go back often, not anymore. The Asian Filipino Market on Reservation Rd is nearby, also sells a ton of Korean food, and has much better customer service.

Produce section was much smaller than I expected, but I was still able to stock up on other less perishable ingredients for a MUCH better price than a regular grocery store in the area.

Love this place! The cheapest and best kimbap! This is the best way to support local communities! The boss and staff are so nice! We found everything we want.

Visited today, influenced by social media for some kimbap. Was not disappointed. Will be back for more! Thank you for the fresh and affordable delicious kimbap!
