I’ve been to K-Pot Korean BBQ in Maple Grove several times. The meats are fresh, the sides solid, and the service precise and efficient. Orders through the tablet arrive quickly, and the staff handles the room with confidence and control. Having experienced Korean BBQ in Seoul, I respect quality when I see it, and this place delivers. Lunch is a sharper play with a limited menu but strong value. dinner expands your options if you’re willing to invest more.
Mason served our table and he was a great server. Refilling our drinks and helping us get through our first time there. The food was great, I love the meat selections and love the fact that I can make Hmong pepper at their sauce booth. I love the vibe of the place and everybody was welcoming. Will definitely come again!
service was fast and good. food was nice. 30 to 40 dollars per head for all u can eat in a table of 3 adults. Decent menu, and wide selection of sauces, appetizers. the idea that u can have both hotpot and korean style bbq was interesting
Richie and the team at KPOT in Maple Grove did an excellent job taking care of our group. Even with a party of 26, we never had to worry about food portions, and the staff swapped out the grills quickly and consistently. If you’re planning to visit with a large group, put in a reservation and you’ll be in good hands. Thank you for the great experience we’ll definitely be returning.
Went for our one year anniversary dinner. Had a 40min wait but that was expected of a Friday night. The fried wings were delicious and probably the best! It was hard to make your own sauce even with directions on the wall but luckily there was a pre-made one I was ok with. I didnt feel like the veggies selection was the greatest, could have had more. The calamari cuts were huge, odd cooking them. The meat seasonings were ok, nothing too exciting. I did however appreciate that you could order your next items on the ipad they provide. The milk tea was delicious, just the right amount of sweetness. Didn’t get much pictures as we were ready to dive into eating
[Updated] We came back for my brother birthday. They changed their menu. The food was fresh and tasty. They also have birthday offer which is great. It's still worth the money. --------------------------------------- We were there on 12.24 at 12pm for family lunch but they CLOSED. We were waiting about 20mins with other people but they actually CLOSED. There was no update on GGMap, no notification on Facebook, no notice papers on their doors, no one on phone. Really disappointed!!! It's a BBQ & Hot Pot restaurant chain, so it should be better on the costumers service and social media. --------------------------------------- We came back a few times for the lunch hot pot and were disappointed. We went on the WEEKDAYS to avoid the crowds, but some items on the menu were sold out (even if you go for the dinner option). I'm not sure if these items are only available on weekends!? The hot pot soup base also got a minus. I feel like they were not consistent at all. I tried the same soup base at different times, but they didn't taste the same. --------------------------------------- Heard about this restaurant chain for a while ago, so we decided to give it a try. We were there for the Lunch BBQ Only Menu. In my opinion, it's okay with the prices. The food taste good. The meats and seafoods are quality and fresh. Each order will be a small portion, so you can try more options on the menu. The banchan was bland and not good as we expected, but still acceptable. I tried the Classic Milk Tea with Jelly, but not worth it. It was very sweet and tasted like water or milk with sugar syrup. There nothing tasted/smell like tea or milktea. The sauce bar is included the DIY sauces, banchan, desserts, appetizers and the utensils. They marked the numbers with the names of the sauces on above glass, but I'm pretty sure that some of them not put in their right places. It made us confused and took time to choose the right sauce that we wanted. The service should be better. Their staffs and servers are nice and helpful with good training. They figured out and solved the issue quickly. They always try to take away empty or dirty plates to keep the table clean and have more space. The food were served quickly after we placed the orders on the tablet. BUT the issue is they missed our orders twice, and served the wrong items 3 times. So I really don't know what happened in their kitchen with the order system? It seems that the grill is made from non -stick grill placed above the electromagnetic stove. Although the heat generates unevenly, it is at least it does not get meats stick or burnt when grilled. The atmosphere was great. They have more tables than most other BBQ restaurants. But if you have a party more than 4 on a busy day, you may have to wait for a longer time than usual. They also have the wait list and times on GGmap so I think you can join the wait list or reserve ahead to avoid the long wait time. I saw some people have their birthday at this restaurant, so I think they may have something special / promotions for birthdays or special events / parties.
10/10 all the way around, my boyfriend and is favorite spot to go, we go like every week😅😅😅 amazing food, amazing staff, amazing space! The wait can be long but if you check the wait list before heading in, you can plan accordingly and i love it! Absolutely amazing all the way around! My favorite restaurant 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 the staff is always friendly!
