Whole Foods Market has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 1316 reviews on Google
I went on a Monday. Smaller boutique location. The rows are pretty well stock. Bathroom was clean. Salad bar and hot food section was lacking. Only a couple fresh dishes were out and the vegan lentil soup I always get was not there. There was one empty soup compartment so maybe it was sold out. I purchased the lemon dill carrots and they were delicious. I saw an empty bar section in the back out of use. Check out was smooth. Overall pleasant experience.
Visited this Whole Foods recently and I’m honestly not sure if I’ll be back. Most of the products are off-brand, and a lot of items were refrigerated — even tortillas — which felt odd. This definitely isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for your favorite familiar brands. Choices felt pretty limited overall. That said, the store was very tidy and well organized. The liquor aisle and the produce section were the only areas that really stood out.
If one were to only take into account what they offer on the shelves, they would honestly get a 5-star rating. The reason they are receiving a 2-star rating is due to the way I was treated by certain Whole Foods employees at the Lakewood location. Their demeanor, their lack of service, and their professionalism was so bad. Unfortunately, every time I go the sandwich counter it is either closed or they never have enough ingredients on hand to make a simple sandwich or wrap. In regard to the hot food station, I would not recommend it if you consider food safety, your health, and wellbeing a top priority. UPDATE: 11/21/2025 at 12:30pm So after some time, my fiancée and I decided to give the sandwiches another try. First thing we noticed is the menu has been completely revamped, no more TTLA. After some time we decided on the Purple Falafel. Unfortunately, this option did not go well. For starters, the falafel was flavorless and extremely dry. I added Tapatio just to give it some type of kick / flavor. Secondly, we added avocado. It was hard and brown. Third of all, it’s supposed to come with hummus and cucumber and it contained neither one. Lastly, the 20% price increase did not help the situation either (sandwiches used to be $9.99. The PF is $11.99 + $2 for the avocado = $13.99). As for the person who made the wrap, she was super cool and was busting her butt getting orders out, so kudos to her. She was really hustling!! I remember the TTLA was our go-to at Whole Foods and it always hit the spot but now it feels like it’s all going downhill. So from 2 stars we are moving it to 1. Heavy sigh.
The Whole Foods is the best one we have found. It’s very large with a large selection of cooked and fresh produce 🍏 and vegetable s🥕. The customer service is great and it’s very easy to check out. The indoor and outdoor seating is nice. It’s very easy to park and fill up your vehicle with bags of their food. The cooked food is delicious and healthy. We love exploring the aisles and fill our carts with lots of different food. See you there.
Had a horrible experience with one employees handling the Amazon register, I don’t remember his name but he was overweight and bald. He spoke to me in a very condescending way and wanted me to open my package even though it is his job to do this, I didn’t have a knife or anything he slightly opens the package with his knife and tells finish and open the package. Just pure laziness.
It's a whole foods. What can I say, they're clean, well staffed and as always, expensive. Everyone is always friendly and helpful but the clientele leaves much to be desired lol. I pick up my packages at the amazon counter and on occasion pick up some milk or whatever and the people who shop there act like theyre better than everyone else. That holds no bearing on the market, i understand but the stark contrast between the employees friendlyness and warmth compared to the patrons is disorienting. Smile people, YOU'RE RICH! YOU CAN SHOP AT WHOLE FOODS. SMILE LOL
Amazon employees are extremely unhelpful, rude and dismissive. I came in with an amazon return that they wouldn't accept, saying they didn't have a box that would fit my item. At a grocery store. They asked if I could go to home depot to buy a box for my item, even though I showed them the refund policy that we do not need to provide our own boxes. They have zero interest in helping customers, being friendly, or assisting with a refund they are supposed to handle. You are better off shopping small.
