Seoul Asian Market

I have been craving a few of my fav snacks that I couldn’t find near me and I was on the hunt for an Asian Market. I drove 45 min :):) I’m so happy I found Seoul. The cashier was very nice and the store is extremely clean and well organized. They have so many goodies! I don’t even mind the drive because I now know all the delicious food waiting for me for my next trip. I’ll be back again soon. If you are ever wanting something tasty, this is the place to go. Seoul has been my partner and I's go to for quite some time now. Jennifer and her family are incredibly kind and helpful, and walking into Seoul is truly a relief from the outside world. Walking in, there is a nostalgic scent and usually a smile from whomever is at the register. Ingredients are fresh and there is so much to explore here. Even after coming repeatedly, we still manage to find something new every time. My partner is Filipino and immigrated when she was a girl, so hearing her language and re-living many childhood snacks and flavors is always a delight. I recommend Seoul to absolutely anyone looking for a warm, cultured, local asian market.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! Fantastic selections with very very fair prices. It’s worth stopping in here just to stock up on soy sauce and rice vinegar alone, much cheaper than a regular grocery store. I’ve been diving into learning to cook Asian cuisine for the past couple years and this place has been a lifesaver. An overlooked gem of Lexington. It’s SUPER stocked, SUPER clean, and SUPER friendly! I can’t say the same for the place down the street. Seoul Supermarket is where it’s at. Thank you for being here!

Outstanding customer service…Great price and selection! A plus…clean and very well organized store! They have a wide range of Asian food selections like Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Chinese!

Extremely nice folks work here! There's a great selection of products and ingredients that I can't get anywhere else. The store is always clean and it's joy to shop here. 🙂

I was recently introduced to Korean flavors by my best friend while visiting in TN. I came back to KY and immediately started searching for sources to buy groceries. The Seoul Supermarket was rated highly so I decided to make a "run" today. I couldn't have been more pleased! They have a great selection at good prices. The store is clean and the staff was so sweet and helpful. I had a lot of questions since I really didn't know much, but she pointed me in the direction I wanted and I found everything I was looking for. I highly recommend.

Decent place to shop especially since it is close to Sam's club. Shop owner is attentive. Asked if he could help me. While looking at items on the shelves, I was taking pictures of them and sending them to my wife. The proprietor didn't like that and told me, "No pictures". He took the items I had moved for my shot and repositioned them back in line on the shelf. I said, " I'm buying those." I've taken pictures at other businesses before and been "jumped" by workers/managers/owners about taking pictures. They think you're doing price surveillance for the competition, I guess. That's fine, but do you have a website I can see all your products? So upon checkout I asked him. He doesn't. He said, "We are small." I'm not going to knock him for any of it. Being in business for yourself is tough. BTW ... many of these Asian markets have a spending minimum to pay with a card. $10 here.
