I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience with Banchan Village, and I must extend a special commendation to Amy for her outstanding assistance. Initially, we planned to have catering, but due to gluten allergies among some friends and family, we made a last-minute decision to order from Banchan Village. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Amy, who was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She expertly guided me through the gluten-free options, and we ultimately ordered Kimbab’s for my daughter’s birthday. Amy worked swiftly and efficiently to ensure my order was perfect. I am absolutely delighted with the service and will certainly be visiting the restaurant to enjoy more of their amazing food. It truly is a five-star establishment with five-star service. I highly recommend it!
Nice customer service. Was very quick. I ordered a soy chicken bento and it was made fresh to order, about 10 minutes. There’s a display shelf with the bentos you can order that’s still available for the day. I almost thought it was the only options left out to purchase since I went in later in the evening. It’s almost like the side storage room to the kbbq restaurant next door and they just added a store front. So if you like the neighboring restaurant, you’ll like this banchan shop! Soy chicken bento was ok. Not the most flavorful nor were the sides that’s included. I really liked the (2) potstickers though. Cucumber kimchi might not have fermented long enough, it seemed to lack flavor. The spicy shredded radish was decent. I’d come back for kimbap for snackums but I guess it’s only one lady that makes it during the day so it’s limited quantities and sell out fast.
A very small Korean side dish shop located next to a Korean-style barbecue restaurant. They sell Korean frozen foods, side dishes, and sauces, as well as ice cream. The frozen foods and simple snacks were great in terms of value for the price.
Yari is the person to talk to in this place. You have a question? She has all the answers. She is really patient and polite and makes you feel so welcome to come in. My friend and I were just perusing and she took her time to explain to us whatever we needed. The food is all fresh so it’s a good place to get great, healthful foods for nighttime cravings. If you like some meat, there also a section to satisfy your carnivorous cravings.
Used to come here religiously. But one day a friend and I were on our way for lunch. As we were getting there. A short Asian man walking in the same door purposely closed the door on us so we wouldn’t come in. Almost like he didn’t want to be kind and hold the door (no big deal no one’s obligated to open doors for any one. That wasn’t the issue) the issue was that he gave us the dirtiest look and pulled the door closed like he didn’t want us to come in. My friend and I kinda looked at each other and kept walking towards the door. We assumed it was just a customer. As we came in we noticed the man walked towards the back and was talking to everyone not in the best tone. He was talking kinda rudely to the cashier up front. He seen us and gave us such a dirty look like he didn’t want us in the business. Not sure if it was the owner but we felt so uncomfortable we left and didn’t purchase anything. I will never ever come here again. If he didn’t want a certain demographic in his restaurant then he could say that instead of making us feel like unwanted guest. My job constantly ordered here for luncheons. After we told our boss he too, said he won’t be ordering here. It takes nothing to be kind. Especially to those who help your business flourish. Kinda glad he did that because then we wouldn’t have found a better place to eat at. It was pathetic of him to act like that. I believe he got out of a black Mercedes very short 🤭 Asian man. And yes I will tell everyone I kno not to come here and refer them to our new location we found. We will take our money elsewhere.
Love love love this little spot!! Super fresh meat and the marinated raw crab has me addicted. The manager is super helpful and he is always a super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Truly a pleasure to interact with. You can tell when people take pride in their customer service and fresh products. Great option if you’re not looking to eat ayce but want to satisfy your craving. They have wagyu too!
Right next to Nalsso bbq so I believe they extended the next suite for the togo banchan korean boxes. Went here for their lunch time togo boxes. I had the bulgogi dochirak and the bulgogi kimbap. Both are delicious and ready togo. I had to rang the bell to get their attention though. But the food is super goof and flavory so 5/5. I will come back again!
